Deshaun on the Browns pregame show:
"I want to say that I'm truly sorry to all of the women that I have impacted in this situation. The decisions that I made in my life that put me in this position I would definitely like to have back, but I want to continue to move forward and grow and learn and show that I am a true person of character and I am going to keep pushing forward." "I know I have a lot of work to put in, especially on the field to be able to make sure I'm ready to play whenever that time comes, whenever I can step back on the field, but also, the biggest thing is I want to continue counseling and I want to make sure that I'm growing as a person, as an individual for my decision making on and off the field. I want to make sure that I'm just evolving in the community as much as possible, and that is for the Cleveland community, that is the NFL community, and beyond." |

I don’t think Lance is comforting any 9ers fans with those passes.
Not great, not terrible. |

Zach Wilson injured his knee tonight, and David Chao is calling it an ACL based on film.

That's a crusher after the "interesting" run he's been on. If it’s an ACL, the Jets move to the top of the Garoppolo destination list. The pretty boy that nailed a hot MILF being replaced by the pretty boy that paraded around a clapped out old porn star would be kind of funny… |

Roster bubble guys get less of an opportunity to earn a job, coaches get less time to tinker, stadiums and networks have one less game to sell, and fans have less football to watch. The stadium/network/us have the same amount of games because of the 17th regular season game, where it's actually more valuable. Roster bubble guys are really the only losers. |

Re: Zach Wilson - after reading twitter and reddit I can confirm:
- He tore his ACL - Covid-19 positive and unvaccinated - But maybe it’s just an MCL sprain - Could be deceased - Possibly just sore from mountain lion hunting - Is out for 3 seasons |

Now they’re saying Wilson has a bone bruise.
It was a non-contact injury. |

Zach Wilson reportedly suffered a bone bruise and a possible meniscus injury.

View Quote Speaking purely in terms of what would realistically be the most entertaining for me regarding the Watson situation: I hope Watson gets a 1+ year suspension, he sues the NFL, he is allowed to play to start the season, Watson plays about 8 weeks where is constantly bombarded with chants like he was in the Jags’ game during away games, he loses the lawsuit, the suspension goes into effect midseason and it ruins at a minimum the 2022 and the 2023 seasons for the Browns. |

Me concerning the Browns with Baker Mayfield: Meh team and franchise, but I it's nice to see them do a little better.
Me concerning the Browns with DeAnus Watson: no amount of bad things could happen to them that would make me feel sorry for them. |

One of the more interesting stories to follow is going to be the development of 2022 draft picks #50-54.
Those are: #50 Patriots WR Tyquan Thornton #51 Eagles C Cam Jurgens #52 Steelers WR George Pickens #53 Colts WR Alec Pierce #54 Chiefs WR Skyy Moore 4 of those 5 are WRs, and 2 of those WRs are getting a lot of hype (Pickens and Moore). Here's where things get spicy: The Chiefs went into the draft with #50, but they traded with NE to go down four picks. Belichick traded up to take Thornton over Pickens and Moore. Green Bay originally owned picks #53 and #59. They traded both of those to move all the way up to #34 to take WR Christian Watson. The trade up to take Christian Watson is probably going to be very hard to justify, and there's a slim chance this will be viewed favorably in the future. The trade up to take Thornton over Pickens and Moore is also looking iffy. There was a lot of anger when the Chiefs traded down and missed out on Pickens, and I think some of that is starting to come back with all the Pickens highlight reels, but there's still some optimism about Moore. I think this could be controversial for a while. |

Is there a team out there that would regret trading 2 second round picks for Justin Jefferson? We’ll see if Watson can play. |

Araiza lined up for his first punt inside our 5.
I said "kick it the length of the field" He freaking did! Officially 82, net 62 I'm getting punt religion. |

Keenum looked like crap but ...
He didn't even get the second string o-line. Bills sat the starters AND the top two reserves. The starting center was a guy I hadn't even heard could play center. Colts played most of their starters. Crowder volleyballed one up in the air in the middle of the field for an easy pick. Kumerow let one get knocked loose after a nice completion and we lost the fumble. Keenum got blindsided getting set to throw and we lost the fumble. The only good running play was when Moss got stuffed and bounced off for a big gain the other direction. Doyle, who should've been the best lineman to play, took two penalties. Barkley looked a lot better but that was when it got down to a fair contest between mostly camp bodies on each side also - 5th round WR Khalil Shakir may have a better year than a lot of guys picked ahead of him. |
