With a third of the precincts reporting, Moore has 41%, Strange has 31%, and Brooks has 19%.

It looks like it will be Moore vs. Strange in the primary, with Moore likely winning and being the next Senator from Alabama.

A Democrat spokesman(Barry Ragsdale) on ABC3340 said that Democrats voted for Strange to prevent Moore from winning.  It will probably backfire.

I can't imagine any of Mo's votes going to Strange so I'd say Moore runs away with the run-off.  He showed up on a horse this morning to vote

Looks like Strange won Birmingham and Roll Tide Tuscaloosa, Mo won his home turf and everything else was Moore country.  Don't know much about Moore, but he didn't let the elites and PC push him around when he was on the court, so could be a good swamp drainer.  Moore will run away with the run-off and general.

Bullshit.  McConnell will be into Strange's election campaign for about $12M when all is said and done.  He's going to outspend his opponent by 10x ~ 12x.  He will owe his soul to Mitch McConnell when this is done.

The only way Strange supports Trump is if McConnell supports Trump.  Who here believes that to be the case?

Luther Strange, Roy Moore set debate; Trump coming to Alabama as Senate race nears end

The president's announcement overshadowed an otherwise noteworthy day that included the scheduling of a Lincoln-Douglas style debate between Strange and former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore, and U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks' official endorsement of Moore's candidacy.

In addition, U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby encouraged voters to support Strange, calling his fellow senator "the right person" to work on behalf of Alabamians in the Senate.

The final days of the campaign are expected to be packed with activity. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, viewed as a conservative "rock star," is expected to visit Alabama soon to stump for Moore's campaign. Palin's trip is backed by the Great American Alliance whose senior adviser is Andy Surabian, the former adviser to Stephen Bannon while the two served together in the White House.

The fact that Shelby supports Strange tells you all you need to know about which candidate the GOPe/Swamp is backing.  Richard Shelby is the very definition of a swamp creature.

Shelby has been in politics since the days of Watergate.  Hell, the man didn't switch parties and become a Republican until 1994, long after the Reagan Revolution in the South.

They support incumbents. Strange is a known quantity. I've gotten one or two mailers from the NRA telling me to go vote for Strange. McConnell's Super PAC has sent a mailer to my house 5 of the last 7 days mail has ran (addressed to the wife of the couple we bought our house from).

Look like Moore will win, and we will gain a strong MAGA senator.

I'm not too upset with Trump's endorsement of Strange.  If Strange manages to pull off a win (unlikely), it underscores the political power of Trump, and gives him additional leverage to use against RINOs in the primaries next year.  Strange wasn't giving him problems like McCain and others, so why waste political capital trying to unseat him?

If Moore wins, it underscores the fact that MAGA isn't about Trump, but about the message.  As Trump embraces the anti-establishment message, he gains tremendous political leverage.

The thing that should upset everyone, however, is how McConnell wasted millions on this runoff.  Why not spend the money against democrats?
