It will be over a Billion for sure, if not Billions, not the 960 billion obvious typo above.

NASA inspector general issues a scathing report on moon effort

The cost of the SLS rocket's mobile launch tower is expected to be at least $1 billion and be delivered years late...

The cost overruns could continue, the IG warned, because NASA has already spent $435.6 million on the project and construction has yet to begin. It said that an analysis found only a 3.9 percent confidence level in the $1 billion price tag, and that it could grow to $1.5 billion.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/06/09/nasa-moon-rocket-ig-report/

Gotta love those Gubment "Cost Plus" contracts. It will end up costing Billions, you can count on it.

And how is this for pissing away money:

NASA already has built a mobile launcher for its Space Launch System rocket, at a cost of $668.7 million. That program also suffered enormous cost increases after NASA's Constellation program was canceled, meaning the agency had to redesign the tower to fit a different rocket, the SLS.

But that mobile launch tower will have to be replaced after just three missions because NASA plans to use a different version of the SLS...

2 billion is the number I saw mostly because the contractor chosen is FUCKING AWFUL.

Anyways the biggest reason they need a new pad isnt even because of 1B, its because the ml in use is a modified launcher.  It wasnt designed for SLS' weight and had to be modified to work.

You can get the NASA app on most popular smart TV platforms, YouTube itself, or on their website.

Ok I’m no marine life expert, but I’m guessing there’s a lot of luminescent algae in the Indian River. Once I got decent night vision I started seeing glowing shit moving in the water, then a frickin manatee glowing and going under the bridge….a cool bonus to watching a launch

4 Billion dollars it's costing for each fucking launch. What an embarrassment. Should have just put that money toward SpaceX developing their new rocket.
