View Quote Each trilogy was geared toward the movie going generation that it was released in. The original trilogy was made for Xers. The prequels were made for millenials. The sequels were made for zoomers. That's why each trilogy hits each generation differently. Its also why I like Filoni. He seems to have a knack for focusing on the timeless themes of star wars that appeals to every generation. |

Yeah, good episode. I likes all the references and Easter eggs.
I still loathe Tech and wouldn't be disappointed if he found his way on to the wrong side of a blaster soon. My 2 main problems with the show right now: 1. If they're on the run WHY ARE THEY STILL WEARING THEIR SUPER OBVIOUS ARMOR?? Way to lay low guys. 2. For being the "most formidable" clone special forces unit, they sure got their asses handed to them by the slavers pretty quickly. |

Quoted: Really good episode. I assumed it was the rancor from Loved all the references. View Quote According to this article, not the same rancor. "The rancor in Return of the Jedi is named Pateesa, who is actually male. But since that movie takes place in 4 ABY (After the Battle of Yavin), does this mean Muchi, who we’re meeting about 23 years before Episode VI, will eventually grow up to be Pateesa’s mom? No. According to the Ultimate Star Wars reference book (via Wookieepedia), Bib gave Pateesa to Jabba as a birthday present “before or during 32 BBY,” more than a decade before the events of The Bad Batch. That means that Pateesa is either older than Muchi at this point, or at least the same age as the female rancor, who is described as an adolescent in the episode." |

Rebels was just "space Aladdin" for a while and instead of killing anyone, every blaster was set to 'stun'. Bad Batch is just fine. Omega doesn't bother me in the slightest, but I have two children about her age so that may have something to do with it. My kids also really enjoy the show. I just take it for what it is. Kinda wishing they’d reveal WHO they were talking to at the end...
Action-packed episode, which was nice. The sisters tie-in to CW season 7 opens up a lot of possibilities. Next episode needs to knock it out of the park, IMO. There was a big glimmer of hope today, but it still feels like filler. |

Yeah, he’s cool and all, but they put him in CW and Rebels (where he died), and while he may be relevant in terms of canon, I think the viewership would see bringing him back as a crutch at this point.
