Now how quickly can the right completely squander this win?
Given how quickly the usual suspects showed up here and couldn’t resist infighting, not even a day. We’ve got a long way to go. Most of the right is pathetic. |

Yeah, after the D's basically kicked our teeth in in 2017 and we only held on by one seat and a coin toss I don't remember Democrats whining like "Oh man, we almost won guess we're fucked forever". They got ready for 2019,. |

Tell these black women, ‘You can’t have guns’? I don’t think so,” said Sears. “When I’m waiting for the police to come, what do I do? How do I protect myself? What an amazing feeling waking up this morning, after staying up watching the calls come in, however begrudgingly, from across the MSM.
While this election is not certified, and McFuckface We need to be active, loud and unmoving in holding the newly elected, as well as the incumbents wholly and undeniably accountable. We put them here for a purpose, and they must serve that purpose immediately, fully and without compromise. We need a uniform statement of expectations. And we each need to call, email and preferably meet with these people in person to demonstrate our resolve. List out each major policy item they must follow through on. Don’t let them ignore us. We put you there, we can remove you. Let there be no doubt. We CANNOT afford to go back into complacency - “we elected then, we turned the tables, we’re good for 4 more years!!!” NO. That will NOT do. The left does not rest. We cannot either. Our fellow Virginians efforts to win this election and turn the executive mansion, the AG and the majority in the HoD was not without tremendous effort . KEEPING IT and ENSURING THEY DO THEIR JOBS will require as much, if not more effort and over a longer sustained period of time. We also must now FOCUS on the STATE SENATE. We can get that next year. It starts now. Ride the wave, give the Dems no quarter and crush them in their retreat. Virginians have once again shown what we’re capable of. We need to show how we can take the entirety of the Commonwealth back. Lay the roadmap out for other states to follow. As goes VA, so goes the Republic. Not just a saying - but a demonstration. |

I am glad McAwful got beat. I am still going to think a lot of Democrat cheating was going on. However, looking at the red area map, it was such a huge margin of victory, maybe the 5% or better.
To me it appears, a deluge of Virginians turned out to vote against a continuation of the current government. It would have been too obvious to overcome, especially with so many watching. I may be wrong, but I believe if someone looks at post election data, there will be precincts where there was 100% plus turnout for McAwful. Also, because it is not reported nationally were school board members running this time? If so how many incumbents were tossed? |

Quoted: No shit. There sure seemed to be a lot of posters from other states, telling us in VA that there was no point in voting. View Quote As an outsider, You all did outstanding and the rest of the country needs to pay attention to what the conservatives and the right did in Virginia. At the end of the day, regardless of where the individual preferences lied within the political spectrum of republican or independent, it looks like a lot of folks went out and decided to at least vote against the dems and socialists on the left and their fucked up agenda. And in some areas you look to have even had some from the left join you in the way they voted. And with that, you all brought out the numbers to win. And win you all did at multiple levels. I get so pissed at Republicans at the national level who have faltered on pushing back against the left and digging in and fighting them on everything. Virginia appears to have had enough and people their decided to push back. The lesson I look at from Virginia is the fight starts with the vote. And you all punched the bully right in the fucking nose. Well done. Get candidates to grab on to the extremist actions and agenda of the left, bring them in close and hit them back hard over it. But I had a guy from my state last night telling me about how NJ governor never stays Dem for a second term and down playing what a close race or a win in NJ would mean, per some guys that do politics for a living were saying on the radio. Their point earlier in the day was a close race in Virginia was bad for the Dems. Youngkin polling so strong indicated that he may well win would be catastrophic if realized. They said add in a close race in NJ, where even a tight result is bad news for the Dems. This is the same guy dogging Trump and playing up DeSantis (when it suits him). All in this thread. But this morning I must say, Congrats Virginia. Well Done. |

I've been bitching about this for YEARS on here, that the VA GOP just didn't turn out. And that if everybody who voted for Trump had shown up Northam would've lost.
This time people showed up
Lots of vote counts where the D's barely budged from last time, but much bigger Republican turnout. |

Now we need to take back the Senate and return the Commonwealth to the preemption status it had before so that Ffx County, Alexandria, Arlington, etc can't just decide to make different laws about who can carry where.
