Bump for daylight guys.
@cameront23, is $1800 for the full rifle? If so, what are you all going to ask for just an upper, specifically the 18" w/ AEM compatibility? |
|
Quoted: So how much are we thinking just the upper will cost? $1400? View Quote Quoted: Probably 1300-1400 View Quote For those asking, earlier in the thread it was stated the upper would be 1300-1400. |

An upper as pictured in the OP is what i would be interested in.

Quoted: What's the difference between the "peq rail" Here and the normal one Here? They look identical to me. View Quote On the PEQ model, the front potion of the 12 o'clock rail is separate and removable, then allowing you to directly bolt an PEQ2 LAM to the rail base and give it a lower profile vs. if you used the 1913 rail clamp mount. |

Quoted: if you look closely the peq rail is not entirely monolithic of 1913 rails View Quote Quoted: On the PEQ model, the front potion of the 12 o'clock rail is separate and removable, then allowing you to directly bolt an PEQ2 LAM to the rail base and give it a lower profile vs. if you used the 1913 rail clamp mount. https://preview.redd.it/mk12-mod-0-with-an-peq2-mounted-12-oclock-v0-pdl8wx8bcdta1.jpg?width=640&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=69bcf8d8058842972d502a197202aebe431f7d6b View Quote Ok, thanks guys! |

They're live people!!!
Mod 0 uppers are $1400. Mod 0 rifles are $1700. 14.5" Mod "S" upper is $949 and they go up from there to the Mod 0 pricing. Waiting on a signing bonus from work. Have to wait until the next go around to pick up an upper and an H&R A1 lower. |

Does anyone know if they will offer them in black in the future?
|
|
|
that's cool, but for 377 more you can get a real PRI.
i am very curious to see how these shoot though. |

Quoted:
they said yes View Quote ETA: I saw a similar comment on their Instagram post that they will not be offered in black. Very unfortunate if true. Maybe @PalmettoStateArmory / Josiah or @Jman_JJE / Jamin can chime in and confirm one way or the other? |

Quoted: No where near clone or even clone-ish correct, but I already really like it. Fit and finish seems really high. No noticeable issues w/ paint, alignment or loose screws. Hoping to get it to the range w/ my 6.5CM Sabre M110-ish and 13.7 Jakl next week while on vacation. Now to source an A1 lower/grip and paint everything up. https://i.imgur.com/u5NpFyY.jpg View Quote Congrats! Can’t wait to see how it shoots. |

be jealous
funny I wouldn't even take one for a tenth the price it would take to buy one |

Honestly I just want to know how it shoots. I haven’t seen much of people actually getting out and grouping these so far.
In that way it is very similar to the clone threads, where no one actually seems to shoot the damn things. |

Quoted: Not a bad rule to live by with PSA. I just like to live dangerously. View Quote I have no doubt they would take care, promptly, of an issues. I had a new Dagger with a bad barrel, extremely inaccurate. I posted about it here and on their online forum, I had 3 people reach out to me from PSA, and a new barrel in less than a week. |

Quoted: Oh don't worry, I shoot my stuff. I have 6 or so different types of 77 gr loadings to try out, if not more. I will also chrono them for those that care about that sort of stuff. You can see the clone I built years ago (and never should've sold) here: https://i.imgur.com/rekSdVT.jpg View Quote Let us know how it does. I had my 20 year old “clone adjacent” build out last weekend. It gets shot monthly at a minimum. It’s fun to build in a “style” of these, but I don’t see the appeal of drifting over into the clone correct region where it is much more about collecting and shooting takes a distant second. |

I don’t disagree with you. However, I shoot from directly behind the rifle with the stock on my inner collar bone which usually needs a higher scope ring so this set up feels very natural to me. |

I discovered that (at least some) cloners detest the PSA rifle because it's not close enough to being a real Mk12 to them and those that own them are beneath them. I think this is hilarious.
