My grandma had one of those cheap 22 short revolvers....I shot it once and the front sight fell off.

99% sure it was in a cigar box...

Triple K's double drop leg. I have a couple sets. I wanted a "B" movie style set, like the lone rangers, etc. but the prices were prohibitive so I modified one of my black ones. No reason, just wanted one.

I was brought up to believe that it's wrong and a waste of emotion to ever hate anybody. I think Mom would have made an exception for him, though.  LOL

Neat guns OP! I’ve got a bunch myself but my father-in-law just died Friday so if I wind up getting any of those from the estate I’ll try to post them later. He was a bit of a cowboy so six shooters and lever guns were his kink

I have run precisely one cylinder full of 158 grain .357 Mag out of it. It’s been fed a steady diet of 125 grain .38 Special since.

+1.

Out of all the handguns I've purchased nothing beats my used AIM Surplus S&W 38-SPC police trade-in.  Since I was unemployed I had to stop buying new and hit the used firearms.  That and a military trade-in Beretta 92 are two firearms that always go with me on a range day.

Thanks, so did I. I did notice Hopalong's upper pants belt in your photo. I also altered one to go with this but I cropped it out before posting. They don't show but I used the exact same buckles and tips as his. Here's the lower half I cropped.

Just be aware of the direction of your muzzle during reloads.

I was never DQ-ed but the RO apparently had a near heart-attack every time I pointed my muzzle up to eject the cylinder.   "Muzzle, muzzle!
Watch your muzzle!"

Oldest in the thread? S&W model 1 1/2 in .32S&W. Slims_88 bought it recently for $20.  Another friend of mine is trying to buy it from him for a lot more than $20.

Based on SN and production numbers we think it was made in mid 1879.

I was thinking about buying an Uberti 1872 5.5" since I sold my last single-action years ago to fund other things, but now I'm thinking I might try to get into cap-and-ball. I already have a Uberti 1861 and really want a 1862 Pocket Police.

You may also want to check out Pietta. They've come a long way since the early 2,000's. I bought their stainless 1858 New Army .44 the last time I wanted to scratch the itch of another suppository shooter. Decent revolver. Cabelas used to have them all the time in their Bargain Cave at pretty good savings but I haven't looked recently along with other BP accessories for your possibles bag.

I also bought one of these plus the pin for Walker/Dragoons. It covers all my wants. A lot easier then using the pistols ram to reload and I use a pre-measured spout on the flask for powder drop. It's not one of the cheap versions Cylinder loader.

They have a newer version for another $20.00.

Gp100 3" - because if six rounds of 357 158 gr SJHP don't do it, the damn thing is heavy enough to use as a bludgeoning device.
