The Russian Olympic Committee won the gold medal for the team competition Monday night, followed by the U.S. (silver) and Japan (bronze), with Valieva finishing first in both of her events. The medal ceremony was scheduled for Tuesday evening, but was delayed due to a situation that “requires legal consultation,” International Olympic Committee spokesman Mark Adams said during a press conference on Wednesday. |

What will their next name be in the Olympics.... ROC didn't work
|

is she the one who did the quadruple or 4 spin thing for the first time in competition?

Ok, so, if the Russians get DQ'd, is China in Second Place by chance ? Cause this would be even more hilarious. And predictable.

The 15 year old? Our high school football players weren't doing steroids until 17 or so. C'mon Vlad, have some integrity.

Not Russian,...

It's an absolute outrage that they didn't ban them in the first place but allow them to compete as "ROC" - and then they snub their noses at us and do it again anyway.

This will be the event Putin uses to justify the invasion of the Ukraine

China had a swimmer popped for the same drug a few years back Olympicals.

She was one of four ROC skaters who did not appear at their practice sessions on Wednesday.

Imagine the medals if the American state actively helped out with roids AND tasked the CIA with switching test samples.
In short I simply presume Russia and Chinese medalists are cheating. |

She is incredibly talented, but there were a lot of suspicions when the Russian female skaters in the last few years started to be able to complete multiple jumps that no other women could attempt.
I'm not saying it's steroids, but that is some amazing leg muscle development for a 15 year old girl who hadn't competed internationally until 4 months ago... Attached File |

View Quote She won the junior world cup in 2020 and several other championships. IOC and ISU (International Skating Union) are still trying to find a way to sweep this under the rug and haven't made any official statement. They care about ratings, prestige, and covering their own asses. They know DQ and banning her will kill ratings and since she is a minor the rules prevent them from disclosing even that she failed a drug test. Since she is a minor her coach and trainers are responsible for her well being and access to any drugs or supplements so they are going to take the blame for this. Her coach is a very famous trainer and former figure skater Eteri Tutberidze. Guess who the ISU recently awarded the inaugural 'Best Coach' award to? Ooops. |

You gotta wonder though, if China is spiking those shitty looking meals for certain athletes
I mean, maybe not. But they definitely play some Game of Thrones type shit. |

Even WADA warned athletes not to eat meat in China, and this is reported in a Chinese newspaper. https://www.scmp.com/sport/china/article/3163669/beijing-2022-wada-warns-athletes-over-eating-meat-products-china-says?module=perpetual_scroll_0&pgtype=article&campaign=3163669 |

I'm sure the Russians cheat but I'm more inclined to believe China tainted her food or interfered with the rest results.
