Loved both versions of that show. The foreign one had the better actress though, she pulled off her mental condition perfect.

I could list hundreds in animes that were only one or two seasons, in 12 episode increments.

I'm not exaggerating either, I really do mean hundreds.

Salvage 1 was a good pick. So was Herman's head.

The Pretender.

Search.

I wish the Mentalist and Castle had run longer.

Jericho.

1.5 seasons, with the short 2nd season phoned in due to the writer's strike.

I love that show, I watch through it yearly. Even 10 years after it aired, the fan base is still going strong and is actively pushing for a reboot. The 2nd season only happened because fans sent in thousands of pounds of peanuts to CBS execs (a reference to the WW2 'Nuts' line that is brought up in the show).

Still hoping CBS brings it back as an online-exclusive for All Access. There's some evidence to indicate it's a possibility, such as them revoking the rights for any more seasons of the comic books that continued the story line after the show.

I bought so much ammo thanks to Jericho. Wife and I would be watching and she’d say “do we need another case of ammo?”

Yes, honey. Yes we do.

One season in 1982 but it was surprisingly good with the 30's-40s period feel and adventure.

Help me out here..

90's show, it was on one of the networks. It was about a kid named Mars (Marshall) and his nerdy friend. They had X Files type adventures in their neighborhood that the adults were unaware of.

It was a good show and didn't last long.

Drive. Fox, 2007.

Nathan fillion, melanie lansky, emma stone, charles martin smith (american graffiti, starman, the untouchables)

A show that had massive potential and shouldve went several seasons........lasted 9 episodes (i think) before fox axed it.

Came in to post that

Seeing it go was a bummer man

I never watched one episode of the Sopranos which it replaced.
I had just got free HBO when JFC aired, I anticipated it greatly after seeing the trailers
and never missed a second of its airing.

Totally not righteous of HBO, fucking travesty actually, but hey they got to keep the NE $$$s attention, such is life

Not obscure!
" So I sent up a prayer to gentle Jesus that Roy rips his arm plumb out the socket".

BEST obscure sitcom was " Open All Night", precursor to Married With Children.

Hot wife, loser dad, slutty daughter, creepy son.
Even had Bubba Smith in it too!

I remember liked a comedy called The Famous Teddy Z, where a Hollywood star makes some random, completely unqualified young guy his agent.  It was on CBS in 1989, and they only aired 15 of the 20 episodes filmed before cancelling it.  Just realized in looking it up that the star was the brother from Two and an Half Men.

Speaking of spinoffs, how about Navy NCIS, a spinoff of JAG.

I was so pissed when this show got canceled. It was awesome. At that time I was on Twitter and lit Fox up over it. For a year I didn't watch anything on Fox. Then Gotham started and I forgot about my personal boycott.

Which was in turn a not too bad, but nowhere near as good copy of the Swedish series “The Bridge”.
Even with subtitles it was 100 times better than the UK Tunnel and 10^6 times better than the American garbage.
