Outside of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki there has never been a recorded attack by killer whales in the wild.

Not gonna lie, I would probably sound just like her in that situation.

They will fuck with you on a small boat or board sometimes, but I’ve never heard of them actually attacking a human in the wild. I guess anything is possible. They are an apex predator and highly intelligent.

once in a lifetime experience and she's freaking out.
I would have tried to pet one. amazing creatures- has there ever been a documented attack on a human in the wild? |

Can someone explain the point of a paddle board on a dead calm ocean?

She was teasing them and tempting them with all the baby seal noises.

They are an apex predator and highly intelligent. They've been attacking and sinking boats over in Europe. These are just some of the ones they know of; there may be more: https://www.livescience.com/animals/orcas/orcas-have-sunk-3-boats-in-europe-and-appear-to-be-teaching-others-to-do-the-same-but-why https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/orcas-just-sank-another-yacht/ |

If that was me, the water would be a really nasty brown color, and the whales would have been puking their guts out.

If it was yellowstone, people would be diving into the water to get selfies.

possibly lucky she didn't hyperventilate, pass out and fall overboard.
I probably would have shit myself... |

Reason no. 87,000 humans have no business in the ocean or seas.

Yep, if i am ever found mauled to death by a cougar...know my last words were, "kitty, kitty, kitty..."

That would be an amazing experience.
But I’d be seriously concerned about becoming whale turds. |

She should have been looking at the bright side, there was a zero percent chance that a great white was anywhere around those whales, or any other shark. I also couldn't help but wonder if she is really hot.

Humans are THE apex predator. Sure, Orcas could do real damage to some humans and/or boats, but if human kind set out to have a war with Orcas, the Orcas wouldn't last too long. In support of that contention, I offer what happened to most species of whales, and even after commercial whaling was banned, whales still have not recovered to anywhere near where their populations were before the year 1500. When humans set out to really go after a species we (humans) rarely loose.
(Some species of insects MAY be the rare exception to that..cockroaches, ants, wasps) |

I’ve been preaching this for years on here.
It’s nice to finally see the threat getting recognition. But it’s sad knowing it’s too late to stop them. |

Quoted: Can someone explain the point of a paddle board on a dead calm ocean? View Quote Paddle boards are silly, ungainly things with the center of gravity way higher than the center of buoyancy and it would be extremely difficult to stand on one and paddle in waters that aren't calm. Surf boarders aren't trying to stand and paddle out to the waves. They stand on the way in when riding the wave and paddling isn't required. |

That's just Tuna Propaganda. |

Scary indeed. I've strolled gravel beaches in Alaska and thought about Orca's picking me off like they do seals and such.

Talking to a killer whale like it's a fur baby. Classic woman instincts right there.
