Go on the tubes and look at the Haulover inlet videos. Some serious coin flowing through that inlet. There's some money in Miami...

I couldn't afford to feed that thing if it were given to me for free.

$450K in engines, $300K hull, $100K in rigging, electronics and Yeti ice chest.
I would say that set up is approaching $900K easy. |

Figure a $110 k per engine and probably 110- 220 k for the hull based on the fit out, a pretty shinny nickle. Ohff, inflation is a thing apparently.

Quoted: That’s very close, those are 400 V10 Verados, $50000 plus each without any bells or whistles. Sparrow Toroidal props would add another $10000 each per prop. View Quote Our uncle used to let me play on them and occasionally pay me to use such beast. Was never given the keys to such exotics. Thought the 21" skiffs on the river were pretty hot shit back in the day. Was pretty cool being an unlicensed/classified coxswain running full out on the Miss full bore with twin Murcury 110's. A hot rod of an aluminum boat, bass boats always gave a salute if you went in a straight line against them. Work punts moving or retrieving river bouys, basically working against the current. All day. Since I was "unclassified" I couldn't leave sight of the ship. But I could scout, find diving bouys etc! |

It used to be around $100 per horsepower, but I see Biden Economics has it over $140 now.

View Quote I know where that is. Center console boats that big are dumb. If i was spending that kind of money, it would be a hatteras or similar type boat. Maybe a Viking. |

Quoted: One decent run would do it. Uh, depending on the breaks. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: How many drug runs to pay that off? One decent run would do it. Uh, depending on the breaks. It depends. Delivering product or you own the product ? One run might not get you there. The economic’s and ability of LE to catch you have changed significantly since the 80’s-90’s..early 2k’s. You would have to carry a dam large load or get multiple runs without getting caught to justify the expense. Ya know what really makes the numbers work ? Stealing a boat and making the run. Where I lived in the Bahamas we would chuckle a bit when a local boat got stolen. I guess someone has a run to do. We lost a lot of boats locally. Probably averaged 15 a year. Got so bad the insurance companies were talking about not carrying coverage outside the US. |

The two center most engines have some extension on them to get the prop lower than the outside engines. Cool, never knew that from watching the haulover inlet videos.

View Quote It depends on what you are doing with the boat. 54 Yellowfin can go 60 mph. No Viking or Hatteras is doing that. If you are trying to get to the fish those boats are better. |

Is that Prince Harry trying to escape his wife? |

And here I am targeting 1 gph at 2500 rpm at 10 miles per hour on an old pontoon boat with a 40 hp 4 stroke.

If those are 300hp, the engines are about $32k each. Nice boat.
