Quoted: Good Job SpaceX. I know the robotic platform ship is in the ocean and the weather was cloudy and rainy, but do you think you could land in the center of the yellow bullseye next time?. I mean sure, all parts of the rocket were inside the 10 ring and it still counts as a bullseye, but I don't want the French judge to have an excuse for deducting a half point and giving it to the Soviets. Historic SpaceX Demo-2 launch: 1st stage lands and Dragon deploys |
|
Next launch is a regular crew rotation with 4 people on August 30. SpaceX's current launch cadence is insane in comparison to what EVERYONE combined was doing just a few years ago, and only going up from there.

If Boeing was doing this they would probably have a barge the size of a Nimitz class carrier which would never leave port. |

Air Force 1 just flew by. Whole beach cheering. |

Here’s mine:
Attached File Attached File Came up right over the bridge. We were so close I was surprised at how fast it disappeared. Felt like only a few seconds and it was gone. Even the shockwave took forever to show up. It’s going fast, sure, but when you see it it’s going fast. Everyone cheered the whole time. Not going to lie, after it disappeared behind a cloud there was a sudden gust that got some dust in my eyes. Stood there watching the clouds for a bit, hoping to see the separation. I suddenly remembered an old line, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand here looking into the sky...?” |

A little cramped in there (not as bad as Soyuz) but, I wonder if they could rotate the seats down to give them more room.

I wonder what the heads of Boeing were thinking when this was an absolute success. Seeing as they can't even figure their shit out and almost lost their space capsule.
