Daddy (RIP) on the JD5205. Photo is from 2 years ago, but it’s the same tractor, and the same land.
Attached File I had it out at the land this past week and used it to rip up a fence line that runs in the middle of the property, just behind our house pad. I might not be strong enough to pull that fence out of the tree line, but Mr Front End Loader don’t give a fuck about 3 “ trees that grew through the panels and barbed wire. By hand, I was getting a couple panels an hr (by myself), with the Tractor, I pulled up 10x that much. |

But I do need to get something to protect the valve stems . I'm sure I could get some 1/8" or even 1/4" steel and cut a circle and bolt it up like that. |

I just bought a poly PTO spreader for my 2025R. So much easier to spread fertilizer and seed now. Not only does my yard look great, I no longer have to kill myself spreading stuff manually.
A lot of nice grapples in here. It's one of my favorite implements. |

View Quote Out of curiosity, why do you find the Toolcat more useful? Seems like a small truck bed with a FEL? Also, my quick Googling shows them to be VERY expensive. EDIT: Dang, a new UW56 is like $90k. You can buy a hell of a tractor for that. |

Last few years I looked hard at the M62, but both new and used prices are ridiculous on them, so I went with a used John Deere 410. More machine for less money. |

IMO, if you do any work in tight wooded trails, that's a bad spot for a saw. Way to easy to snag on something and break. Sure is convenient though. I made this one out of composite deck boards(having a house built). It is also in a vulnerable position, so I'm going to move it a bit once the trails harden up enough to drive them. Attached File Before that, I had this on the ROPS. Flops around too much. Was great for a brush axe/machete though. Now I've just got it sitting in the garage. Attached File |
