I didn't read the book but he mentioned that in the book Rey sort of mind melds with Kylo and that's how she learned a lot..

This is what happens when you hire people to write movies for a billion-dollar franchise who don’t know shit about said franchise. Not even Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One, could use the Force without significant training. Rey being able to without issue is just bad, lazy writing that wouldn’t have happened if they had just hired writers who cared more about the lore than “Respect Wamen.”

It's all in the name of girl power. They can't cry men don't like strong female leads.
Ahsoka has to be one of the most love character out there, male or female

Agreed. She’s a perfect example of a character done right: she was created with room to grow. She wasn’t always powerful, competent, or even liked by the audience. But because she was properly developed, having gone through some trials, challenges, struggles, and failures, now she’s easily one of the most popular characters in the saga, including among those whom LF and Disney have been claiming are afraid of strong female characters.

I never had a beef with strong female characters. I take issue with poorly written characters being foisted on us for the sake of “the Force is Female” type agenda-driven writing. I take even more issue for being called a sexist for now appreciating their overpowered, undeveloped, boring, and uncompelling characters we are having shoved down our throats.

Man, I can’t wait to see Episode 9 crash and burn. Maybe then Disney will realize the “get woke, go broke” future the franchise faces.

He really seems to be passionate about Star Wars. I mean he filmed that out of pocket and it was pretty dern good if you ask me. I was wanting it to be longer but yeah I would seriously think about pulling it also

Just another reason i'll bootleg SW9 when a good copy is released.

I went and saw 8 and that movie was horrible. I fell asleep and missed like 20mins or so of it. This was a during the day showing so I was tired. It bored me that bad

Yep, it’s about the worst example of a growing list of incidents showing the Disney/LF doesn’t GAF about the fans or the advancement of the saga. It’s pretty disgusting behavior to manually turn on ad revenue and profit for something that you didn’t lift a finger to produce. And as he said, the revenue would be huge for a guy like him who is trying to fund the second film, but is pocket change to a big corporation like Disney.

I really can’t think of a worse company to have the rights to the IP. It’s sad and it will eventually end with the death of the franchise until a more responsible owner comes along.

Part in red: Hopefully that day comes soon so whomever the new owner is can retcon Episodes 7, 8 and 9. We need an actual fan to take the franchise over. Someone like Dave Filoni or even Travis Knight if he's a fan of Star Wars like he is of Transformers.

If I came into control of the IP, the first things I would do is promote Filoni to be in charge of all creative decisions, and then declare the Sequel Trilogy non-canon. Then fire anybody who wore or owned a “Force is Female” shirt. Shut down Rian Johnson’s trilogy for good. Apologize profusely to the fans for all the shenanigans and mistreatment over the past few years. Vader spin-off film, followed by a post-Rebels Ahsoka animated series.

A guy could dream...

I've been laughing for years that they gave exclusive video game publishing rights to EA - probably the most evil video game company in history.

I find the it amazing that the droids in Star Wars....R2-D2, C-3P0, etc...for being expressionless can portray so much character and emotion. I get that their are actors in suits...but look at what Anthony Daniels could do as C-3P0....no facial expressions and limited movement.

The fandom is pretty split in both organizations. Some people like the new movies, others hate them. None of them really seem all that interested in a boycott.

That’s a great costume! I wish I had the time/money to get into that. Star Wars cosplay is the best cosplay. The closest I’ve come is making armor for my son out of the 48” action figure toys r us sold.

Thanks! It’s Wonderful Sabers Low Ground, a saber by a small company of which only a couple hundred were made. The saber is modeled after the Episode 3 version of the Skywalker saber, sometimes called the “Skinnyflex.” It’s got a neopixel blade and Proffie soundboard.

Yeah, it is super expensive. Part of me wishes I had spent the money on ammo and mags, but it is what it is. These days I troop a lot more than I shoot anyway.

That was pretty cool. I feel like the stuff in TLJ was pretty misleading though, but I guess he didn’t have much to work with from that dumpster fire.
