Season 2 Episode 3 more than made up for Episode 2's suckfest.
There are people who don't like Mandalorian? Wtf do people want, virtual blowjobs by slave Leia? ffs. |

One of the best episodes so far.
Only thing that would've made it better is if Bo had been wearing the kind of jeans a Wyoming Sheriff's Deputy would wear. |

Anyone else think that when the Mandalorians attacked the Imperial freighter, it was reminiscent of the Hawk Men attacking War Rocket Ajax in Flash Gordon? |

Pedro Pascal is 41 and Din Djarin is around 30. We've only seen his face once for a few seconds, the voice is heavily processed, and rumors are other actors are in the suit most of the time. Replacing the actor wouldn't be that hard if they wanted to.

Could have used a few more minutes... maybe some exposition on Mandalorian history while waiting for the freighter.
31 minute episode... too short. |
|
+1! |

Anybody else laugh when the Razor Crest plopped into the drink?
And the RC looking like a tackle shop at the end? |
|
Ep11 was great....wish they would be more than 30 min though. Disney could easily do 1hr episodes.

Good episode. Really liked it that they brought in Katee Sackhoff for Bo so she could do live action what she did in Clone Wars and Rebels. Good way to connect it all beyond just being a charachter.

Not only did I know an egg was going to be eaten, but immediately afterwards I said "genocide!" and predicted an internet shitstorm over it...sure enough the next day it's all over the place. I'm the guy who jokingly acknowledges that Back to the Future is a terrible movie in regards to Marty's life(he's a stranger in his new timeline, knows nobody, zero history). It applies here too in both reality and humor.

Good episode, although they could have given a little more history and the 33ish mins is really short

So, I watched like part of the first season of clone wars and know Ashoka was Anakins padawan.
So she lived and has something to do with Bo katan and the mandalorians? Is there cliff notes to catch up before next fridays episode on their backstory? Season 1 of clone wars was so slow I couldnt do it, and rebels had preteens starring, no thanks. |

View Quote It gets better as you go. The slapstick kid humor goes away and it’s actually really good. I just binged all of it in about a week and a half and the last episode was so heavy...it’s not a secret so I hope it isn’t a spoiler but you could feel the betrayal when Order 66 was implemented. Watch it, it explains a lot and is worth the time it takes. |

I would even say that Rebels is worth the watch as well.
Some good moments that lead into the original trilogy, and some context for The Mandalorian. |

Probably one of the few times the F-bomb would have fit in Star Wars.
Mando: "You're not Mandalorian." Bo-Katan: "The fuck I ain't!" |

Quoted: She was in her teens in Clone Wars so probably at least in her 40s if my math is correct (Based on Luke and Leias age at the end of ROTJ)...but Bo-Katan didn’t seem to age either. I would say older than that. ROTS was 6 years before ANH and ROTJ was 8 years after ANH and this is 30 years after ROTJ. So if Asoka was in her 20's when she fought Vader she would easily be in her 50's or 60's by this point. You just need to ask how well her species ages. 60 might not be that old for her kind. |
