In case anybody cares, South Carolina QB Jake Bentley broke his foot Saturday and will be out at least six weeks. The official line is he broke it late in the loss to UNC, however the strong rumor in Columbia is he actually broke it kicking the wall in the locker room after the game. Bentley will be replaced by true freshman Ryan Hilinski, a 4 star recruit from California. View Quote How did Hilinski look in spring/fall practice? |

I've figured out over this offseason that Finebaum is a troll. I'd never really knew much about him other than him being a Bama shill.

Who did Clemson beat by more points last year, Alabama or Notre Dame?

Exactly! If I see improvement, heck yeah! They have improved. They were actually able to get 3 and outs. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Yah agree they looked better. Houston ran 69 plays and OU ran 63 iirc. Yardage is going to be high when air raid teams play, so....who cares? OU looked faster and more athletic and that's what you want. Again, I'm happy for Hurts and hope he crushes it except against Baylor. If I see improvement, heck yeah! They have improved. They were actually able to get 3 and outs. I hope they lose every game.... but they won’t. Probably only 1 loss. |

Larry G is a very passionate and opinionated Alabama supporter. Despite WDEagle’s jokes Larry and I are two different people. I’ve meet Larry in real life. Online he comes across far gruffer than he is in person. Some posters went out their way to bait him. He took the bait. It happens. We all have our red flags. Mine is anything to do with Steve Spurrier, Urban Meyer, and orange. In hindsight, we could have done better. USPcompact’s posts where he joked about “switching teams” every week and bourbon drinking as he suffered through Larry Fedora’s coaching and Ron Cherry’s officiating had me in stitches. Reading HeyCoach’s excitement at his school’s program returning from the dead always makes me smile. Some posters really enjoy stirring the pot and are just trying to rile up folks. It is just good-natured fun. Others, I’m often guilty of it myself, get fired up on Saturdays and post in the heat of the moment. In March, I was injured on an Airborne jump. I landed incorrectly and was knocked unconscious. I spent a couple nights in the hospital. I am still dealing with headaches, light sensitivity, vestibular (balance) and emotional sensitivity issues. I had an EEG that showed some irregular electrical activity. Technically, I am having seizures. Thankfully I am not presenting “clinical” seizures. Most days, my symptoms are controlled, and my problems are mild. The emotional sensitivity has been the most surprising problem. Some days random things leave me feeling like I am reliving 2nd and 26 over and over. Stuff from my deployments that I thought I had dealt with, boxed up, and put away has popped up. My Doctor showed me a couple of photos that demonstrated the overlap of mild traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress in the brain. The concussion distributed the circuity of my brain. That will reroute in time. Thankfully the MRI showed no physical damage. I am currently attending the SHARE Military Initiative at Shepherd Center 2 days a week as an outpatient. If you see me seizing and doing the gator chomp, or yelling war damn eagle in tourette's like fashion, please call 911. I am glad College Football is back. Go Dawgs. https://georgiadogs.com/images/2018/4/6/18_Uga_X.jpg Monk View Quote At work, I was known as COB (crusty old bastard) by my boss, before I retired, so don't be trying to make me out some kind of good guy. Good luck on healing up. I just had back surgery last Thursday and it hasn't gone well so I can relate brother. At least this time I was not tripping out in a coma for two weeks. like that time in 2011 and again in 2015 with my knee replacement. They finally figured out it was a mixture of the anasthesia and the pain meds. They used the correct pain meds and no tripping........... |
