Quoted: Quoted: So it's going to be..... 1 Alabama vs 4 Cincinnati 2 Michigan vs 3 Georgia Officially? Yes I wonder what the early line for bama/Cincinnati will be? Michigan will be (-6.5) vs. UGA CKS had better start getting #18 some reps as 1st team QB |

Quoted: Quoted: In before the all SEC Championship game meltdown Michigan -4.5 vs Cincy for the natty One of the ESPN guys already mentioned the possibility of a championship game with no SEC participation. God the world would melt if Cincinnati knocked off Bama in round 1. Saban might stroke out on the sideline. Michigan has a damn good chance of beating Georgia. In fact they should open as the favorite IMO but it will likely be Georgia -3. Bama will open as a 10pt favorite and Georgia as a 3pt favorite. Let’s see how close I am. |

Quoted: They are a victim of conference affiliation. That will soon be corrected. But then how strong will the new Big12 honestly be? View Quote Bullshit. They could have taken the same view of themselves as the rest of the NCAA. The view that their entire conference is shit "off week" games for bigger conferences. If they took that view and scheduled their 4 out of conference games as 1 Big10, 1 Big12, 1 Pac12, and 1 SEC game they would have a good schedule. |

View Quote See the -115? They got the juice jacked up. Standard is -110. That’s an indication they don’t necessarily like the line a bunch. And the value -105 on Georgia is them asking people to take that value. |

No Notre Dame, so all is good.
I would have gone with Michigan as top dog, but whatever. |

I don't think the Mich/Uga matchup is a good one for mich. You don't beat UGA in the trenches. As UF last year and Bama acouple times has shown - you beat them with an over the top, down field passing attack.

View Quote Yesterday’s sec game meant nothing . Zero chance that either bama or Georgia we’re getting shuffled out regardless of who won. Now, Cincy and M would have definitely gotten moved down out of the playoffs if they lost . The pairings are what the committee along with most of the rest of the nation , think people want . ga vs bama in “the rematch” The fact is, the entire county thinks sec IS football and until people start beating them , stupid shit like this will continue . |

Quoted: It's a cheap move, and they should have downed the ball at that point. The ball is spotted where he starts the slide, and woe be to any defender that touches the QB once he starts. It's no different than letting the punt returner wave his hand in the air then run the kick back. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Forget about the top 4 and look at this play. The Pitt QB does a fake slide, which confuses the defenses, and results in a TD. Is it a cheap move or smart move? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Bb0n4pNwBw Why? Did any "downing" part of his body hit the ground? There's no rule about dragging your foot and appearing like you might begin a slide. If it's not illegal then it's legal. Should fake plays be outlawed? "But he looked like he was going to punt! That's cheap!" There are too many rules already. |

Notwithstanding the CFP popularity contest, I'd like to see the top 10 teams by number of wins over currently ranked teams. I really have no idea what that would look like.

And Bama only ran for 115 yards yesterday. They scorched them thru the air. |

Not everyone. I’d be perfectly fine with Michigan vs Cincy in the final. I’m all about the SEC being great and the business model dominating college football but losing 1 NC won’t diminish that. The SEC will be fine moving forward. Listening to the ignorant shit talkers that would show up here blah blah blahing about the weak ass SEC would be the most frustrating part. |

IMHO there should never be two teams from the same conference in the Payoffs. We have the whole regular season to determine who the best team in each conference is. The Payoff should be about determining things we don't know, like how the conferences stack up against one another.
