Yea, it was 9 wins but they were shit and he literally carried them to half of those wins through willpower alone. Not saying that Mahomes wasn't spectacular. But in 2014 he has to be compared to Mariota who was a generational talent that peaked that year. And in 2016 he was against Lamar who *literally* carried his team. Mahomes was awesome, but he wasn't able to do (that year) what Lamar did. Mahomes has had a far better career, but as a single stand out best QB of a particular year while he was in college, he was always #2 and other players peaked around him. |

That'd end this class with 6 five stars. We already have the best class we have ever had. If those 2 pieces fall this class will rival some of the all time great classes that Alabama has put together over the last 10y. |
