I can't eat any of those pies anymore so I will just watch others eat them

Pecan. Have a lot of pecan trees here on the property so we use them. Don't really make one special for thanksgiving, but if we make a pie it's pecan.

Pecan is my favorite followed by Apple, but unfortunately I've not really met a pie I did not like.

Oh! Fruit-type pie.
Being ARFCOM I thought we were talking pie-pie. |
|
Pecan had a strong start in the poll but pumpkin has almost caught up!

Anyone who chooses pumpkin over apple… ya’ll need Jesus. Or better apple pie.

Pecan.
Picked up half a grocery bag full of 'em in the backyard this morning. Just in time. |

Pecan pie, followed by pumpkin.
Of course a well done homemade apple crumble pie is impossible to beat. |

In my family there are 3 out of 12 people who love pumpkin pie; everyone else won’t eat it. Typically, at the holiday meals we have Pumpkin, Apple, Pecan, and Lemon Moraine pie; all of them are good tasting pies. The Pumpkin crew developed a tactical pie eating consortium. We would eat the other pies first knowing we would have Pumpkin pie available for the rest of the holiday weekend.
Those who fail to plan, plan to fail. |

I can only think of one that is low carb and a decent workout afterwards.
I like pie. |

Pecan by far.
Apple is good, especially a custardy one such as Marlborough pie. What I really like, though, are more tart-like desserts. One of my very favorite ever is a simple apple tart with a maple-bourbon-walnut glaze. Protip: make your own pie crust (it's so easy) and replace 10% of the flour with whole wheat flour. It adds a really nice texture to the crust. |

My grandmother made a pumpkin / custard pie that was remarkable.
The best of both worlds. |

View Quote I'm impressed. My faves are Shoo Fly Pie, Rhubarb Pie and on Thanksgiving, Pumpkin Pie. |

The trouble with Pecan pie is you might as well start taking swigs from a HFCS bottle.
