The 6.8 really is getting just about done. I might get one of those dual-button thingies for the DBAL and the m600, might not. Need to play around with everything and the placement.

I figure the red circle on the first pic is where I'll put a dual button. Or two singles. But most likely a double button. The center of the two reticles just about perfectly line up for rotating. And I've tested having the light on the right, it won't obstruct an optic @ 45°.

So closer now than we've ever been, and not much more to go.

Thas a nice pig rifle.

Hopefully it'll be a decent do-everything rifle

Well, everything except PRS, that's not much my strength anyways

Painted the SL-K before sundown. Humidity might mess with it, but oh well. Weathering happens, and it's gonna get beat up anyways

And I've tested having the light on the right, it won't obstruct an optic @ 45.

So closer now than we've ever been, and not much more to go.

Thas a nice pig rifle.

Hopefully it'll be a decent do-everything rifle

Well, everything except PRS, that's not much my strength anyways

While I like the idea of 6.8, the logistics are enough to keep me with 5.56
The idea of shooting 6.8 at a match or stacking for bad times makes my wallet nauseous.

Same

If I were to do something other than 5.56, it would be 6.5G

Supersonic at 1000 =

I'm not sure where I could shoot to 1k that isn't a few hours away

Oh?

That would be cool.
I love the big puppers, but my wife doesn't want anything bigger than what we have now (and would really prefer smaller), so that she could manage them if they got hurt/sick and needed transport when I'm not around.

I get that. Then again, I have horses and hogs, and ain’t no way I’m managing either one if it gets sick or hurt. Which is why I have a large animal vet on call.

The area is hilly and wooded, a kilometer shot out here is incredibly unlikely.

Idk that I can convince her, but once we move out in the country that argument may have less weight.

Kids woke me up at 5am arguing.

At 7am James got annoyed at his ipad and threw it at Victoria hurting her foot.

James projectile vomited in my new car on the way home from Boston.

Kids just had another argument that escalated to pushing and kicking.

Happy father's day!!!

Or, to quote my HS track coach: "Fine. You wanna act like that? Fine. Start running. You'll get to stop when I get tired."
