I think there are smaller, lighter and less bulky ways to interface a Harris bipod with
an AR..........but that's just me.....

I could mount a side-by-side refrigerator to my rifle...and it would still "perform very well"...but doing something like that would be stupid.

So, what's the point of the box?

What do you mean? Do you think I would be silly and make it a triangel?

Anyone with common sense knows that squares are superior to triangles.

What a noob. He probably would have used a triangle!

Another game changer.

It's annoying when folks try to be coy.

You started the thread on it, why dont you clue in those of us who dont know what it is? We are assuming it is something worthwhile.

ETA- I figured it out. That AR is an Armalite and you are trying to hide the ugly? Amirite?

IIRC from an online blog - it's an attempt at a hybrid 'Rail Gun'.

So the gun shoots the projectile and then the "box" accelerates the projectile by the use of a magnetic field?

If so, that may be impressive. If not, I'm still disappointed.

Hmm, let me guess.

You want a modular way to weight the AR15 so it won't move, like some of the competition guns.  A 30 lb. 5.56 hardly moves when shot.

Am I right?

Just a tag so I can come back to page 16 when the OP finally explains what the fuck is going on.

Seriously, why not just cover it in feathers or rhinestones if you're not going to tell what the function is?
