I would caution you against it for the simple fact that once you get really into it, SyFy will cancel it and leave you with an open cliffhanger.

Binge watch.
Second season has weird pacing issues. Also the story line takes a weird turn. That one episode like season 2 episode 4 I thinkis amazing with the space battle. |

Yes. Budget limits on FX become apparent in some scenes, but overall really worth a watch. It’s a very “realistic” sci-fi world.

My only complaint was I could never figure out the persona for the Alex Kamal's character. One minute he seems to be just a normal character and then the next minute he's a rootin' tootin' John Wayne character. It tended to be a little distracting.

The first season sucked because they didn't explain anything that was going on, so it made no sense. There was also a lot of stupidity going on, mainly with the character that Thomas Jane played. The second season actually turned things around and explained things and the season became quite interesting. I was waiting for a 3rd season, but, looks like they may not have renewed it. Or, if they did, they're skipping a year to release it?
