Quote HistoryQuoted: Fishbed? Who the fuck names these things? NATO. That's a NATO reporting name. They're chosen to be easy to understand and distinguish from one another. Fighter reporting names begin with Fs. Fishbed, Foxbat, Flanker, etc. Bombers begin with Bs. Bear, Badger, etc.

It wasn't really an issue, during the visual setups either high aspect or perch. BVR, I of course came in low. No trouble seeing him against a blue desert sky. I only ever did 1v1 so getting and keeping a visual was not all that complicated. The Flogger was harder to see because he had such a huge turn radius, I think he ended up in the next state most of the time
