Democrats seem to understand that the military is political weapon. Sometimes I think conservatives believe the military is about defending America.

Ok read it. I actually saw that cross posted elsewhere. Pretty scary stuff there and I'm truly concerned for our Republic and our President. I'm 2000 miles away, and can't do much from here. I just hope that the right people in the right positions can put a stop to anything that bad actors might be planning.

Quoted: Democrats seem to understand that the military is political weapon. Sometimes I think conservatives believe the military is about defending America. View Quote On the bright side, that basically makes the conservatives in the military inclined to defend America. I think the point of this is to sow confusion among the ranks:
Until now, Trump has been pretty good at avoiding every single trap TPTB set for him. This time, he fell for it, and it was a mistake that gave them an opening. Despite his words, Trump thus far has shown a lot of restraint, and an honest assessment makes it obvious that no, he's not trying to sic the military on peaceful protestors. He's being provoked into calling on them to stop an actual insurrection, so I forgive his mistake, but it'll still cost him. Because this is a "color revolution" conducted without guns, the mob can chant "peaceful protest" all the way into the Oval Office as the President flees to avoid killing them or letting them physically tear him apart. Then they can say he "abdicated." Today/tomorrow is going to be stressful as hell. Even if we make it through, that still won't be the end of it. |

If TRUMP really has the goods on Obama, Hillary, Comey, Clapper, Schiff etc.
Makes sense. Lookup Rose Cheramie. |

Late to the party.
Anyone know the enemy numbers within the Military and what hardware they will be attacking Washington DC with? Do they have access to it all? |

Can someone hook me up with a direct 4chan link? Sorry but holy hell that site hurts my face trying to figure it out |

Gentlemen, this strikes me as similar to the Battle of the Bulge. First the COVID panic, then the race riots, and now possible mutiny in the armed forces. The left is throwing every last reserve to try and defeat Trump prior to the election. Things may look grim now, but remember the result of the Bulge. The Germans had no more reserves left. So we weather this storm, and then we drive toward Berlin.

Once an officer makes two star general, their rank is largely tied to their positions, but he retired at that rank, so it is mostly fixed in place, and would require a courts martial to reduce it. |

View Quote Yikes...so basically, if you're the earliest-dated Four Star General and retired, you're invincible to a court martial and can violate the UCMJ with impunity, as long as the Senate likes you? If so, does that only apply to those who are retired? |

If so, does that only apply to those who are retired? Only retired. Technically, a four star could be assigned to a three star position, but that almost never happens, they retire instead. There IS a process by which an officer's retirement rank can be reduced, if it can be shown they engaged in misconduct at their final rank, they can be reduced the last rank the held without any misconduct. Note: This is just what I've picked up watching various scandals over the years, my classes on the UCMJ were a long time ago. I'm not going to wake up the retired USAF O-6 JAG I know :-) |

Who was making the statements? Wing/CC? Wing/CV? Cmd Chief? Group/CC? Just trying to grasp the level of this so I'm not blindsided.

A CMsgt was hosting the session, but it was an open forum, with comments being made by junior enlisted and NCO's and company grade officers. OP wasn't clear whether any of the statements were made or encouraged by the CMsgt. |

This is the best understanding and short summary I have so far for anyone less up to date than me :
- A huge protest is coming to DC today, maybe between 100,000 and a million or more regular protesters. Antifa and other Marxists/anarchists rioters/fighters have been mostly absent from protests the past 3-4 days, likely resting up/preparing for today. How many they will be able to mass is unknown but possibly 10,000 or more. - Many in gov including DC Mayor and Pelosi and some higher ups in military have been actively and openly opposing security for DC today, while at the same time publicly instigating trouble - Military leadership in mutiny against the president - there is possibly a widespread mild mutiny going on in the rest of our military as well [anyone with corrections, then by all means do so because I'm just trying to understand everything myself] So things could go bad today. Hopefully not, but it's possible to say the least. |
