Full Auto - The M2 and the M249 have been my favorites

Semi auto - I thoroughly enjoy the FAL

Bolt action has to be a no4Mk1 Lee enfield.

A Ruger 10/22.
I’ve always had one or two since I was a kid.  I currently have 2 in my safe.  Everybody who shoots it can’t put it down.  A 10/22 with couple of 25 round mags and bulk pack ammo can’t be beat for fun shooting

Ringing steel at 300 yards with my M14s with iron always makes me giggle.

Shooting my M1 carbine is a blast as well..

Toss-up between an M1 Carbine and a Thompson SMG-----both quite different from one another----but LOTS of fun, each in their own unique way......

This was my first gun. I've sold friends and coworkers on the platform a bunch of times. Everybody loves it. I hung a can on it about seven seven years ago and hardly shoot with anybody anymore. All the fun are mine.

Full Auto, hands down the BAR.

Semi Auto, suppressed .22LR AR

Bolt, Blaser Tactical 2.  Divorce forced the sale of that one.  I want another...

Tough question.  The MP38 was damn cool as was the BAR.  Emptying an entire mag with the BAR with one trigger pull was a challenge to keep the recoil under control.

From my meager collection, it’s the Yugo SKS with irons or the Creedmoor with glass.

Shit, forgot about the carriage-mounted Gatling gun.  That was pretty awesome.  Thanks, Crockett!

How does recoil from a full power load compare to a 10 gauge, 2 ounce turkey load?

The GD Lightweight Medium Machine Gun (LWMMG) in 338 Norma.

Kind of a novelty but the MP7 was also fun, almost no recoil with that little cartridge.

As much as I enjoyed all of the FA rifles and such I've been able to play with over the years, , the most memorable for me was being offered to try a .458 Lott! For those not familiar with the cartridge, it's a .458 Win Mag Magnum! Think of the concept of the .357 Max, or the .460 compared to .454 Casull, but with a .458 Win Mag rifle!

He was kind enough to warn me to shoot it offhand, rather than from the bench!

It wasn't a sharp kick, more like a strong push bordering on a shove, but it rocked me on my feet. It spoke with authority, and it certainly let you know it meant business! I've lusted after one ever since!

I've shot some really cool stuff, and been blessed that owning a range for so many years a lot of guys brought some neat stuff to my place.

My favorite would be either a 552 Commando with the happy switch, or an American 180. The latter literally pissed brass and you could write your name with it....so fast and controllable it was almost silly.

Thompson from this past weekend

But I definitely have the most fun in our local run and gun matches with my regular old DD/Geissele franken rifle.

A black powder revolver.   In fact I still prefer to shoot black powder firearms.   First time I emptied a Garand was fun too.   8 rounds of 30-06 goodness in about 2 seconds.

About 30+ yrs ago I'll never forget a friend of mine called me to go shooting on Easter Sunday. All we had was a vintage surplus M1 carbine and several hundred rounds of ammo. We took turns shooting it for hours. Helluva a nice firearm.

Same here. I can’t imagine how many bricks of ammo and hours I spent with a 10/22.
