It’s basically an AR-15 bastardized into a lever gun. No thanks.
The only redeeming quality I can come up with is the fact that it might make a pretty decent 300 blk rifle with subs and a suppressor. |

I shouldn't have bought the .22 handguard though. It was supposed to be an easy, 4 minute install. I scratched up my gun and the bolt for the new barrel band is too long, when it's properly tightened down the handguard is off center. I only bought it because both were in stock, it took me a month to get them.

Make it DI gas operated semi-auto. Keep the lever though. Have it as an option for those who operate in extreme conditions where the forward assist might not be enough.
Or maybe for enough force and leverage to close the bolt on 5.45x39 steel case in a 5.56x45 chamber (reduction gears maybe?) in emergencies where you've run out of ammo, but have some battlefield pickup rounds from the enemy... |

I do appreciate the addition of a small top rail on a modern lever.
I'm never going to use it for HD or any other "tactical" scenario. No need for a light, IR, etc. I love a lever for its retro-ness. |
