I fully expected to see a video of three dudes fucking on that web page because that's almost how gay that rifle is.
For those who, like me, have wanted an SCR, but haven't been able to find one in stock, now we know why. Rather than building product, the geniuses at Fightlite have been having gay orgies. |

Quoted: Ok but why Also its fightlite so its gonna cost a bajillion dollars View Quote Yeah that was thought. I will give them an A for thinking outside the box but why go this route? You want a lever action, buy one. You want an AR, buy one. The 2 really don't go together. More power to them I guess. |

This is as much "hipster/something different" (like cz/revolvers/da/sa) as ban state stuff View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: ban State nonsense It is a lot of something different. Despite the continuing trend, everything does NOT need a pistol grip. I have a pile of ARs (in all kinds of configs and calibers) and while great, I am getting a little bored of them. I have some lower/upper sets in the safe for when the kids get older, but lately I have been into other types of firearms. That said, Flightlite seems to be the new Keltec. Putting out products people want and only making 3 a year. The difference being that their CS seems to be absolutely nonexsistant. |

-thinks back to several, long recent threads about bolt action pistols and Ruger American Ranches that take AR mags
-looks at most of the comments here -scratches head |

I think we have different ideas of "winning".
But different guns can be fun, so for people who want them, enjoy them. |

No.
Not because it’s “tactical” but because it’s 5.56. 45-70, or 357 Mag. Maybe a 22 for the kids. Anything else with a lever can fuck off. |

Quoted: It is a lot of something different. Despite the continuing trend, everything does NOT need a pistol grip. View Quote If stuff like the Ares SCR was actually obtainable and cheap, I'd seriously consider replacing my "truck rifle" with one. The "straight line" form factor really lends itself to getting in and out of racks and tight spots more smoothly than the traditional AR form factor, especially with a 20-round magazine. |

Quoted: It’s basically an AR-15 bastardized into a lever gun. No thanks. The only redeeming quality I can come up with is the fact that it might make a pretty decent 300 blk rifle with subs and a suppressor. View Quote This. If it takes any AR15 barrel and hand guards, I’d buy one just to transplant my gasless mside-charger (ie: pull action) .300BLK barrel/handguard/silencer onto. |

@brickwurx made a lever action AR already. Possible copyright or patent infringement?

I told my Korean coworker about the video of him in Japan posing on the catwalk. Pulled up the video to show him, and his comment, "There's a lot of Asian people there." Uh, yeah buddy, it's Japan... |

It will be a cold day in hell when I trade in my ar15 for one of those.

So is he taking deposits and having you sign contracts that allows him to screw you over and then tell you a decade later it is against your states law to have one.
Geoff is a douche! |

I've always liked that design. I get it was done for ban states, but like you listed, it has a lot of practical use. Basically, a better Mini 14. |

Could you put a .50 Beowulf barrel or .458 SOCOM barrel in it?
Might have some uses......... |
|
Ok the more I think about it I am starting to come around.
458 SOCOM / 450 Bushmaster barrel/upper 11" barrel Dead Air Primal 16" handguard 500gr subs But I could just do the same with a normal AR lower and have it be semi auto so still not seeing the point unless its ban state fuckery. |

"Due to its modern, magazine-fed design the HERRING Model 2024 doesn't suffer from center-of-gravity shift as a tube-fed rifle does when loading or firing,..."
Finally someone has solved this major problem. |
|
Oddly, I kind of want an SCR lower, but find that lever action gross.
|
|
I don't know about this thing but for some unknown reason, I do kind of want an SCR?
|
|
I understand a pump action AR. A good one could have a high rate of aimed fire, while maintaining a detachable magazine.
But this is a solution in search of a problem. Unless you really need the extra torque and leverage of a lever to extract? |
|
|
|
the benefit of lever actions is that they're NOT AR CALIBERS.. a lever action in .556, 300blk, 9mm, .45acp? what a fucking waste of money...
regardless of the AR caliber you choose, it will do exactly what an AR will do.. only slower.. |

I don’t believe it states whether or not it shares AR triggers. Would be nice if it did/does.
|
|
This is a natural offshoot of the fightlite lower reciever . I prefer carrying a rifle with the fightlite lower in the woods over a standard AR
|
|
It will get shitkicked to death here but there are a lot of folks in ban areas that will benefit greatly from it. As long as it's reliable I think it's a good option for folks that aren't as fortunate to live in a free state.
