In the real world things like foot pursuits, running climbing over fences tend to knock body cams off or off the body. I've broken my body cam around10 times in the last 2 yrs. Anything from broken clips, broken camera, broken off/on switch. I've also had the seat belt rip it off and lost it climbing fences etc. It's pretty damn common and most likely means absolutely nothing. No way to format the camera and if I could erase a video the download file will show where the video was and I'd be in a world of shit explaining what was erased. It would be a firing offense here with great chance of being charged with tampering with evidence. |

I would imagine going over that gate on your belly would knock the camera off.

Looks like a good shoot with some really bad crossfire and policy violations. One guy shooting at the turds car as it drives off. Those rounds going towards another unit down the street that gets hit head on. Those officers think the suspects shooting at them when it's actually another officer down the street. They open up and think they have an armed fleeing felon, Felon gets shot. At least one of those officers may get canned for his reckless firing towards other officers.
I guess we have to wait for the investigation to be finished. |
