This actually makes me angry and is furthering my resolve to quit this company and do something else. Border Patrol is hiring I see. |

Somewhat comical considering how racist the Japanese are to this day.

I thought getting out of CA would help. Still under the influence, I see.
The Porsche and Mercedes are staying in my garage for awhile. TC |

Japanese People & Japanese Culture are HUGELY Racist against Black people...
And Japanese Racism is NOT just against Black Peoples, either ask any Gaijin... |

Why do so many companies feel the need to make political statements and take political positions? Just sell the product, and make money. Shareholders should be furious every time.

Somebody remind Toyota of the proverb "For want of a nail."
Get woke go broke is the message. |
|
I'm beginning to think ALL companies got their talking points from the deep state. I keep getting these messages right and left from everywhere and find them highly offensive to say the least.
|
|
What do you expect them to say? Just keep quiet until someone tells "witch!" And burns them at the stake?

View Quote Every fucking corporation on earth is climbing over one another to see who can say the loudest "FUCK YOU" to roughly half their customer base. In this case Toyota (a Japanese company) has basically called 330,000,000 people a bunch of ignorant racists. Hey corporations, it is not your place/part to make social commentary about every issue out there. I already dropped Sony from my product lineup over this (I am a dealer, albeit a small one). I am a longtime Toyota enthusiast (6 Toyota/Lexus products currently sitting in my shop). Not going to boycott, not going to angrily destroy my property. Just merely going to no longer speak positively of their brand nor recommend it to all the non car people in my life that come to me with questions and opinions when they are making a vehicle purchase. Disappointed. |

The perception of bigotry in the USA is largely due to the MSM (remember South Africa?). Toyota only says what they think we want to hear.
|
|
All companies must "make a statement" or risk getting bad press from the MSM.

ETA: I wonder who will try to outdo Toyota. Maybe Chrysler will outdo them by offering discounted cars to black folks, make a Black Power edition Charger or stop selling police package fleet vehicles (I could actually see them doing the last one). |

This reeks of a corporate entity sticking their finger in the air to see which way the political winds are blowing.

Probably the fastest Toyota has ever reacted to market demand.

If you want to know who your boss is, just think about who it is you can’t criticize publicly. Those people are your masters.
However, that wasn’t enough. Now they will go after you if you don’t make a statement showing your support. Right now Drew Brees is in the crosshairs because he hasn’t said anything to support black lives matter. If you’re one of us, you’ll read the talking points....or else. |

It's everywhere, virtue signaling. Pathetic. You want mind control, gets some reeducation camps. Until then ...

All the big corps are being extorted, if they don't support it/donate, then they are a target.

Everyone knows the tacoma sucks these days. The 4runner tho? I had a leased 2017 OR Tacoma for 2 1/2 years. The tranny sucked and the engine only made power at high RPMs. Not what you want in a truck. It can’t hold a gear on the interstate in KY without downshifting for hills. I’d run 3500-3600 rpm for every other hill and back to 2k. This is around 75-77mph. |
