Trump is adopting the messaging and agenda of the left. I am not surprised to see SOME of his supporters do the same.

Quoted: If DeSantis doesn't want MAGA at his events what does he want? If you take out all the people that consider themselves as country patriots, what are you left with? This feud between the two is disappointing. Ron should have tried to be Trumps VP and spent four years learning the ropes of DC and find out what he is going to make major changes to when he runs for POTUS after Trump. He doesn't seem to have much strategy for long term thinking. Besides what is MAGA going to do to his event? Showing that MAGA is attending his event only helps DeSantis and hurts Trump IMO. If Ron would have gone that route he probably could have been the most successful POTUS, even more so than Trump. But we have this BS. I get why DeSantis is doing this because Trump is being an ass, but he should have taken on the opportunity to convince MAGA he could be better. It would hurt Trumps ego. View Quote 2. The feud started long before the 2024. 3. DeSantis was a sitting member of Congress before being Governor. He already had a better udnerstanding of how DC worked than Trump did. 4. Trump is toxic by this point and a lot of people that were former supporters of him (I'm one of them) is tired of the bullshit. For some, it was 2018 and gun control, for others it was 2020 and COVID or the Stimulus. |

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: 87% agreed but there is still really only one sane choice at this time for some much needed potential long term political stability. RD. We can't get 2 terms out of Trump and I have zero confidence he can even get elected. So that only leaves the option of supporting the best candidate with the best chance. If Trump really wanted to make the swamp creatures see spiders he would stop bashing Ron and support him but his fucking ego won't let that happen. Both are choices. Only one makes sense. RD Trump will have to make loyalty pledge to join RNC debate stage, Ronna McDaniel says RNC chair Ronna McDaniel says she thinks ex-president WILL sign pledge backing Ron DeSantis if he wins GOP's 2024 nomination Remember, Trump backed Ronna McDaniel as RNC Chair for every darn election going back to 2016. So, for Ronna McDaniel to bring it up. It is her doing a wink, wink, nudge, nudge poke on Trump to remind him not to look like the fool. View Quote It wouldn't really affect him that much, since I dislike career politicians anyway, and I am not the only one. He should bring in someone like Kari Lake. I don't really like her all that much but that's irrelevant to my reasoning. Then they would be hesitant to impeach him over bullshit (as assuming he wins the nomination). That's part of the reason Pence was such a poison pill for Trump's first term, he is uniparty loyal so an acceptable alternative for both "sides." |

Is it possible to be tired of Trump's antics and feeling he's destroying the party from within but ALSO not support the GOPE and establishment? I think a lot of people believe in Trump's philosophy but not Trump himself. DeSantis seems like he shares almost all of Trump's views but without the sideshow nonsense. Just because someone like Jeb puts his support behind DeSantis doesn't make DeSantis an establishment guy. It's more to do with having Trump having a history of insulting and namecalling Jeb, Jeb noticing that DeSantis is getting under Trump's skin, and then Jeb putting his support behind DeSantis knowing full well it's thumbing his nose at Trump. Think you're going to see a lot more politicians do this. Like instead of trying to attack Trump or insult him back, they'll throw their support to Trump's current competition as a way of trolling. |

How freaking petty, if desantis wants to win he will want Trump voters to break away in the primaries or atleast support his presidency if nominated. Desantis just looks more like a red flag loving, antigun, bush neocon (based on his pres campaign org) duchbag! |
