ETA: Either that or they will insist there is some big conspiracy and Trump doesn't really support a switch to permanent daylight saving time. |

......and it's about time.
The reasons for it were good once upon a time...just like summer vacation for schools...that time is far past. Schools need to run year round with breaks for holidays. Kids should have finished their sophmore year in college by the time they are 17yrs old for the sake our country today and tomorrow. Schools also need to weed out all the dead wood dragging down all the kids who have talent,potential,and smarts. Get rid of the gang bangers, druggies, mentally ill, keep the ones who work well with their hands and brains... and focus on the good kids... |

During DST, solar noon doesn't happen at my location until about 1:30 PM. This is

The free market (capitalist) solution is for businesses to adjust their hours to accommodate the changing length of the day as appropriate for them during the year. |
