New York comes to mind. I'll admit I have no idea what the laws there are currently but I do recall the courts saying ten rounds is reasonable but seven wasn't.

Well some Virginia sheriffs have shown otherwise. State and municipal cops are suspect. This is mostly due to their bosses being appointed by the commie in charge rather than elected by the people they serve which is how it should be.

I was basically told that VA would be different. In the end there is no difference. Too late. My mistake in actually trying to argue or win people to our side. My wife's family is strongly anti gun and democrat Catholics through and through. I'm just curious to which one will nark on me first.

I see reading comprehension is not your strong suit.

We are at the talking/persuading stage now.....That's over if/when the bill is signed into law and Virginians have to move forward with other efforts both legal and perhaps extralegal. I'm just saying to choose your confidants wisely going forward.

To that end some random chest-beater trying to egg you on here on this site might not be the best person to confide in nor divulge any of your plans to. As far as those types go they can eat static as I won't be baited.

When these bills pass the best thing possible would be for Virginia members to go radio silent and Goatboy to nuke all of the current and archived Virginia threads from orbit.

When (or really if) it is ever time, it won't be announced, it will just be done. What I do know is now is not yet that time. I've made my intentions clear. Others will have to choose for themselves. I speak for no one but myself. I'm a patient man but not very tolerant of tyranny. I will bide my time, watch, wait, and ready myself (those who saw me at the rally know I really need to lose weight and get back in shape). If they back down or the courts strike down these unconstitutional POS laws, I will have lost weight and improved my shoot-on-the-move skills anyway. It will make me better and healthier regardless of what may come.

The things the petty tyrant wannabes and their JBT lackeys fail to understand is that every one of these insults to the law abiding will come back to bite them in the ass multi-fold. They are giving ample reasons for people to get fed up with their antics. Think of it as an old school principal's ledger where every one of their stupid antics adds demerits to their column. If the column gets too large, punishment will follow. The magnitude of that punishment will be sized by the number of demerits they themselves earned. Too bad their ego/arrogance isn't allowing them to see it.

I thought the meeting was in a government building which is ' public ' property and not a private building which would be private property. My point is, how do the police have authority to arrest the public in a public building for trespassing when said building belongs to the public? Not a legal eagle here but just a random thought.

There really isn’t any point in snark and blackpilling: If you think people should perform a particular course of action because said action is worthwhile, you need to provide moral and material support for them that helps them accomplish it.

If you’re that defeated and demoralized at an individual level, it’s best to forget about the outside world and just focus on your personal happiness.

Honestly though, your type of behavior usually comes from someone that has some emotional investment in the subject, but can’t see a path to winning and hasn’t been offered a compelling vision of a way to find one.

So I’m not going to attack you, because ultimately it’s more of a critique directed at me.

I see Sam Rasoul is one of the Dems on the committee. He tried to get elected in Botetourt County and got spanked, so he moved to Roanoke City to get elected. Kind of like Chris Hurst moving to the New River Valley before running. He started running when he was like 28 or so. I wonder if his kids go to private school?
