So with the pistol brace stuff ...could I just get a charger and a pistol brace without having to jump through those hoops?

Until the current stay of the pistol brace rule is stayed on ATF's appeal to the next circuit...  Even if we do win on procedural grounds, ATF is just going to try again and issue their final rule for comment all over again - and then win that round in the courts unless we overturn the NFA.  Unless we clearly win on "Common Use", which is a partial overturn of the NFA.

Thanks.  I'm hesitant to put my name government lists.  Probably just gonna get the Ruger PC Carbine.

Four Boxes diner did a good video right after the decision came, The feds can’t really appeal because it will end up in EXACTLY the same Federal district Court that just shot them down, the same District court that fucked them on bump stocks etc.

The would have to lose two more times and then go to the Supreme Court who would shit all over them without even dealing with the 2A aspect of it because the APA and other facets of the case were so blatantly violated.

Times have Changed, the BATFags can’t do what they used to.

ETA: The Vanderstock Frames and Recievers rule just got dropped an hour or so ago from that same 5th circuit court and they buttfucked the ATF on that too. Not a chance in hell they get a favorable reimagination of their brace rule.

With the brace thing going out the windows I'm gonna change my vote to an ap5 or ghm. But I'd jump on them soon as they are gonna get popular quick.

While it makes sacrifices to fold, it's not a bad gun.  It's light, w/ a heavy bolt, quiet w/ a can, runs steel out of cheap ETS mags, sights are adjustable, LOP is adjustable.  It also takes 9 different mags, depending on the configuration.  It's no HK, but it's not trying to be.

Youre not wrong, it just comes with the label of know what youre getting. My point is still stands tho. Unless he needs two pipes on a hinge, hes go a lot of options at 1k.

That said-- with their $100 rebate you can pick them up for under $300 now. Even im tempted to get one. Another one -.-

But can i interest you in a Ruger 5.7 charger, dear sir? Weighs as much as a sub2k and less, mag per mag.

OP is a repeat offender and fits a stereotype.

OP, I like my 9 mm AR that takes Glock mags. People also like the CZ and it's in your price range.

Perfect answer? it's far outside his criteria. I think Uzi pros are a decent option, provided the price point is right, but the asking prices on gunbroker are crack smoking high now. Even the lowest prices are far too high for any practical purposes, considering alternative options.

Oh, I quite agree for $1k.  I posted a # of options in my post.  If you don't need folding or takedown, there are heavier options w/ less recoil for more money.

Mine should go on HD duty soon.

The only practical guns anyone needs are a carry handgun, an AR, and whatever hunting guns anyone uses. Everything else is for fun.

Dear lord, that is a very small list of requirements.  You need .22s to practice w/, both pistol & rifle.  You need a BUG to your carry gun, Two is One, One is None.  Same for your HD/truck gun - no need for em to be ARs.  Any modern semi-autos that use a common mag & ammo should do fine.

Shotguns can answer a multitude of hunting, HD, & truck gun requirements depending on the AO & season, and PCCs may be preferred for HD or truck gun duty, suppressed or not.  THEN you get to hunting - and competition requirements.
