Since 917 is already covered...
Paul Rossi's Challenger doing wheelstands is pretty badass. |

I’ve got a hard time arguing against the GT40, but the Ferrari P cars of the same era make a good case.

Quoted: GT40s, Ford GT, newer 911 GT3. Favorite is probably the Ford GT. To add stuff that hasn't been mentioned, I'm partial to the E30 M3 and the Escort RS Cosworth. View Quote Always partial to Rally Cars, involvement and the format mostly, but Rally cars are Road Legal Cars. Maybe we're taking about any car that's been raced, but that's not really a "race car" to me, or by a number of standards. Regardless, if Rally, I find Escort RS Cosworth, Stratos and 037 Rally especially attractive, less form, but functional styling is aesthetically appealing, as well as practically important. Ferrari 333SP was always a favorite of mine. I even got to share the track at Watkins Glen with one years ago. Sounded glorious.

I could not afford the entrance fee to get in to a place that are displaying 99% of these autos.

I think it had a Gulf logo. ETA. heh. I guess there is a lot more than one. So, what's the story with Gulf livery? Can anyone paint a car that way or did they actually have team colours over a period of years? |

I'm also wondering why we haven't seen at least one Lola on here? I've always been partial to the GT40s and the Lancia rally cars though. |
