People keep saying curry but there are so many different kinds that are totally different.  They are all spice blends.  The yellow powder at the grocery store is mostly turmeric.

Although I'm not crazy about cilantro, there is no quicker way to ruin anything destined for your pallet than clove.

I have poured out a few beers because of clove.

Stuff that sux;

Stuff that's awesome;

If you put "Star" in front of "Anise", then your entire post is spot on. I especially dislike cloves. Gross.

Pretty much like all other herbs and spices.

Mint.

Do you know how hard it is to not like mint?  You are the only kid who doesn't want a candy cane.  Also, brushing your teeth sucks.

I can't stand Sage.

Cumin is OK, but my body doesn't like it.

I really like Cilantro.

I was on my way to post this.

True Facts about Curry (from Wikipedia)
"Curry is a variety of dishes originating in the Indian subcontinent. It uses a combination of spices or herbs, usually including ground turmeric, cumin, coriander, ginger, and fresh or dried chilies. In southern India, curry leaves from the curry tree are also an integral ingredient."

Curry. Whatever kind that makes an entire apartment building stink of it all day, every day when it is used by the folks who put that shit in everfucking thing. Yea, maybe there's some that isn't nasty AF, maybe, but the shit I'm talking about is disgusting and makes an entire building uninhabitable. So yea, curry.

Cloves. There is no food that is improved in any way by the addition of cloves.  My grandmother, mom, and wife were/are convinced that it is necessary to insert cloves into the surface of any ham prior to baking it.  It ruins perfectly good meat but I'm in the minority so it continues to this day.  I used to hate cilantro but love it now despite the "soapy" flavor.  It's essential for proper salsa.

I've never found a good use for cardamom.
