M&P .22 compact. It really is a pretty
nice gun, but mine has canted sights so bad that with the rear sight adjustment all the way to the stop, it still shoots to the right about 8 inches at 25 yards. I got it on sale from PSA for $250 though, that is the only thing that has kept me from hating it.

You know S&W would fix it, and pay shipping both ways, right?

CZ vz. 52 pistol.

If you look out on the wide expanse of the Internet, you will find people extoling the virtues of the vz. 52 pistol, and how it is oh so superior to the mundane TT-33. Don't listen to them.

It is a bizarre pistol with ergonomics designed for nobody, an operating system that had never been used on a handgun before and would never be used on one again, and which has issues with poor metallurgy on important parts of the gun. Poor quality rollers flatten out and trash the barrel. Firing pin breaks at the drop of a hat. The decocker becomes unreliable and turns into a second trigger. And yes, you read that right, it's an SAO handgun with a decocker. Why? Who knows. I can only assume the Czech designer of this gun was on some serious drugs.

As a historical collectible, it has value. If you just want to shoot 7.62x25, go buy a TT-33 variant and don't look back.

And then they created the Vz 82, a SA/DA Pistol with a 1911 style safety and NO deckocker ( unlike the Makarov )

And to make sure they got it all, they also made the Vz 38, a 9mm short DAO with a horrible DAO trigger and the size of a normal service pistol yet a shitty 380...

PPK/S. I'd never want to actually need it to work through a whole magazine.

LRB M14 18" scout with medium weight criterion barrel. 6" groups with 168 GGM. Sent back, replaced the barrel. Got it down to 4" at 100 yards with 168 GMM. Sold in disgust.

The Makarov. I read the fixed barrel Bulgarian model was the most accurate so I got one of those. Got some nice rubberized grips. Took it to the range.

It was so inaccurate I couldn't even print from 25 yards. Brought it in to 10 yards, flyers all over the place. What a huge disappointment. At least it was cheap.

It took 5 1/2 pages for the right answer.

Makarov sucks.
I'll take my CZ 82's spongy trigger over the terrible fit, mag release, shitty point of aim, all day long

I tried to like it, but it sucks.

People will say change grips, did that.
Try different ammo, did that.
Try different mags, did that.
Clean it really well, yeah did all that too.

Makarov just sucks.
