Just a civilian but I drive by the Yakistan range often.  How was the wind?

600 yds with Sharps replica on 55 gal plastic barrel.
600 yds with M1A all day long.
207 yds with Glock 20 10mm centered on a 10'x10' rock

I may or may not have made witnessed hits past 2000 yds., up to 2300, with a 22" 300WM.  With the old, unheralded 208 AMAX's....

100% civilian...   I wish I'd served.....   pretty sure they're glad I didn't.

Shot and hit at 1500yds at a friend's back field up in potato country. Of course, what I hit was the Earth. 5 of us shot quite a few things at that range that day. Nothing had truly repeated hits, but a .243 and 7mm Rem magnum did the best.

600 yards on a 1 foot steel plate. I can hit it pretty consistently with my .204 but I do miss sometimes.

1200m with an m4. It was a bit ambitious but I wasn't paying for the ammo, they needed shooting.  no idea if I hit them but one of us did

Tell me you would shoot at a fleeing Taliban at 1200m even if you had to pay for the m855...

600m at a military range, mostly hits but I used a bipod and acog on m4.

1400 meters. I'm a civilian, but the Army supplied the range, ammo, and weapons platform.

One of my friends has a 750 yard range set up on family land with steel from 100 to 750. I've been invited out a couple of times.

2,200 with a 338 lapua. Recently its been about 1600 with the 6.5 creedmoor, 1200 with the grendel and 223. I'm assuming your actually talking about hitting what you aim at and not walking a dozen shots into a target.

Roughly 400 yards Moose hunting.
Sako .270 kneeling. Aimed at the peak of the shoulder, typical crosshair Tasco scope (nothing real special).
Good kill, I was actually surprised I made the shot.

Got a second round hit at 1580 yards with my .300wm.  Longest to date with that round.

425 yards. Wanted to try 500 but 425 was as far as I could go without shooting across a road. Target was a  5 gallon bucket, iron sights. Did it with two ARs and a Garand. Tough shot, the front sight covers more than the bucket. I want to try an honest 500 with irons and 1000 with a scope, but don't have access to the land to do so.

Using my M1A and AR15, I shot G.I. steel helmets at ~300 meters. Shot at rocks with a Reising SMG at circa 400 meters. With an M82 Barrett, plinked at boulders on a hill maybe 600-700 meters across the border in Mexico.

Shooting across an international border? If you'd accidentally hit a person where would the trial be? US or Mexico?

1000 yards NRA high power... way beyond that with an M240B and M122 w/ flex mount.
