I always like the Porsche 914. It would be cool to have a fully restored one.

Neighbor had one. He spent 10 times more time under the hood then in the drivers seat. It looks good with the hood up.

My dealership has one and I want it, but it's over twice what I paid my regular Bronco Sport

I always like the aesthetic of little roadsters like that.

Makes me miss my MGB.  A manual Fiat 124 is nice too, just don't miss working on it.

Late 40's DeSoto Suburban.

Then comes the engine swap for a modern V8, add 4wd, and about a six inch lift

Mid 1970s Chevy sedan, something like the bad guys would have driven on The Dukes of Hazard, or any other show from that era. Plot twist, I’d LS swap it with a really good suspension and brakes. For some reason I’ve always thought that would be fun.

Those sedans/wagons were always prime sleepermobiles to do small block ford swaps when I was growing up. The engine bays on them are enormously huge. My mom had an '81 sedan with a 4 cylinder and you could have put 2-3 more engines side by side under the hood lol.

Years ago it was the last gen F-150 Lightning. I mean, I'm not even really a pickup dude, but holy cow did I ever want one. Time machine knowing what I know now, sign me up for a brand spanking new one. I don't think too many folks liked em though.

Had a couple friends with them. They were fine if you were driving on your own just enjoying but as soon as you were trying to show off in front of / against someone, you realized it was a mid 14 second truck.

Had one friend that bought one in Germany, thought he was hot shot, took it out on the autobahn and got blown past by a Volvo.

What's your dream car, that almost no one else would want, and prolly make fun of you for wanting?

Mine is the last gen Trackhawk. They don't make em anymore. And no, not going used for personal reasons, but boy, if I could go back in time, I'd take the financial hit and get one, with OE extended warranty of course.  Anyone else got a redheaded stepchild dream car?

trackhawk is the first thing I would buy after winning the lottery. My dad has a built stroked 2nd gen SRT dinoed at 750ish. I had a 300 SRT that made a no nonsense 500hp. Chop for days. All that said, the Delorean is my dream car. TX DMC is building new ones with twin turbo V6s. The shitty Volvo power plant (and Johns witch hunt) was the death of DMC.

ETA: this was one rowdy mother fucker. It had no business being that fast and loud for a fat boy. I miss it.
