And in that same color.... why... because I f**king love lime green. And if I am spending over 110k, I am getting Lime Green...

Those C8s are pretty cool. That’s probably my pick.

Speaking of saving, I wonder if the C8 is cheaper to maintain per mile than the other cars listed. I know some get stupid expensive for just a oil change.

I'm debating this as well, so I'll be interested in the responses. M5 or M8 are on my list.

I want a GT3, but the dealership basically laughed at me. Need to be a previous customer and even then they said '23 or '24. I don't know if they were just trying to get rid of me.

The 718 GT4 is supposed to be a pretty fun car to drive, some even say more fun than the 911. Maybe a GT4 RS.

I was working with a slightly lower budget and decided on a new Corvette Z06.  I was really hoping by now that one could find a Huracan LP580-2 for about $130k... but the market went in the opposite direction..lol. So decided on the Z06.

The market is all kinds of crazy.. pretty much anything in that $150k range is probably going to require paying a hefty markup just because of how the car market is right now.

Gen V Viper, though frankly you probably missed the boat.  Seems like most are north of your budget now.

Yeah. If I could buy any car today,150K or less and pay MSRP it would definitely be a C8 Z06.

Used GT4 and Spyder pricing has become insane in the past half year, from around MSRP to 150%.

You can't get any of the nicer 911s for $150K.

I am in line for a new Spyder. I knew they were going all electric, but I didn't expect it to happen so soon.

I asked a similar question 5 years ago.

What could I get that was the most fun, best handling, fastest with a manual transmission (a must). My budget was $100,000, about the same as today when you consider the premiums dealers are asking and getting.

A new 2017 C7 Zo6 Zo7 was a touch over my budget but well worth it. It is not a daily but now has 96,000 miles, lots of track days and a shit ton of fun times with it. If I could do it over I wouldn't do anything different.

This is the obvious answer, with pristine condition super low mileage 2017-2019 examples running around $80K now.  650hp/650torque with a 7-speed manual.

Say what you want euro car snobs, but these fuckers haul, are stupid fun, and are bullet proof.

It is my daily driver.  If it were just a weekend car, a GT3 might make more sense.

It's not a sports car but it drives like one, my AMG GLS 63 is a full size 7 seat SUV that comfortably does 0-60 in under 4 seconds. It doesn't have the top speed of a real sports car (only 174mph) but how often do you even get to drive >100mph in the US?

Why waste money on that slow SUV when you can buy a Durango Hellcat?  That’s what I did and I can beat 99% of “sports cars” 0-60 and I’ve had mine up to 176mph.

They have horrible resale value.  My father-in-law has one and paid almost 160k for it when they first came out.  He's lucky to get 75k for it now and it's in pristine condition with under 10k miles.

911 GT3 is the answer.

I have strongly considered picking up the M5 CS in Frozen Deep Metallic Green with the GP-900 (900hp) upgrade package. But that would mean parting with other toys though.
