I personally prefer sedans by a wide margin.
Wagons just look kinda nerdy to me. |

I am weird.
Love longroof variants of things like big German cars and classic American cars. |
|
I prefer a sedan version over a wagon as well and I have owned a wagon. It was an 02 WRX.
|

Because wagons and hatchbacks are extremely functional vehicles. They're more practical for the majority of people who end up buying SUVs and trucks. That is unless you really do want or need the extra space or an open bed.
It's like a sedan with a lot more storage space, but you still maintain a lot of sedan fuel efficiency and driving characteristics. |

I like rodded out old wagons and some of the newer BMWs
Not a car hipster. Dont even really like cars, as I like pickups and classic SUVs. But some wagons just seem cool |

Easier to live out of, stash useless shit, sleep in when the basement is full?

I'm on the hunt for a 1965 Pontiac Catalina Safari 421 tri-power 4-speed station wagon.

Wouldnt mind having this wagon

Sedans are equally as strange to me as a wagon, if not more so. I'm a truck/4runner/wrangler guy, so all the rest is kinda pointless.

Real wagons Shooting brake I'd love to have BMW M Coupe, and I love the lines of the Ferrari FF.
I do prefer a sedan over a hatchback though. When I got my Subaru Impreza, I tested both and got the sedan. No cleaning off the back window and I prefer having a trunk (boot to all you in the old country). |

Sedans and wagons are both "nerdy" to me.
You simply don't fully comprehend the power of good and constant marketing. The proof? You have men talking about how cool their sedans, wagons and hatchbacks are. |
|
Owning a sedan is like owning a crew cab truck with a hinged, non removable bed cover. It's a waste of space.
I would prefer either a Suburban or an open bed. Hence, wagon. I don't care how it looks to you, because it's a tool. |
|
Prefer hatchbacks to sedans. But HB cost more. Can make sedan work though.

I don’t really care for a full on wagon. I can see the practicality, but they just aren’t appealing to me.
I don’t mind hatchbacks. The whole “hot hatch” thing is a nice combo of a well performing car that is also very useful. While my Focus RS for sure isn’t going to replace a truck or SUV for the whole “hauling shit around” tasks, it works fine for 95% of stuff I need a little extra space to fit it in a car. I use it for a lot of Home Depot runs where my beater sedan just lacks the useable space. |

I really like my 04 Mazda 6 wagon.
If I had F.U. money, I'd have it completely restored with factory new parts. Jay |

View Quote Meh...I don't get too wound up on the pure style of vehicles anymore. I think more about functionality, mechanical durability, and cost. I'll admit it right here that among my household's three vehicles is the '07 Chevy Uplander minivan in cargo model that's my daily driver...still has the windows but nothing back of the front seats and rubber flooring. Makes for a great serial killer vehicle or for lurking near playgrounds. You guys can go being stylish elsewhere...LOL! |

Many people are in complete denial about how their vehicles look.
