Also known as slowing down. Going full libtard and getting older are two different things. A woman that did a 180 mentally would be a choice on her part, not a normal physical progression with age which is out of her control. Slowing down? Bullshit. You make a choice to sit on your ass all day and stuff your face. Exercising less is one thing, but you can adjust your caloric intake to not whale up. There is no excuse for getting that fat. Before we got married, I told my husband that I expected him to maintain his appearance. If he got fat or all old and wrinkly, his ass was going on the curb. Let's see how you've held up. Whoosh! Goddammit, you didn't give me time to set the fuckin' hook. Warn a girl next time. |

My wife was a stone cold fox when we met. After the first kid she put on a few pounds, but then took them off. Now we have our second kid. However we are now in our mid thirties and we have both gotten fat. I mean 50 pounds overweight fat. It happened while she was pregnant but I got fat with her this time. I still love my wife for who she is, and it is damn hard to get to the gym with a 6 month old. I have learned to bang a fattie and I am happy. ETA It might have been worse had I not chunked out too, I can't harp on her weight gain since I did as well. View Quote Running strollers. My mom pushed my sister and I around in one all the time. |

What did her momma look like?
I said something like for better or worse.......and meant it. That said if she doesn't respect herself she isn't going to respect you. My prediction-this isn't going to end well. Pepper your Agnus. |

This thread reminds me of a girl I used to hang out with who was smoking hot, but started gaining a few lbs after she got engaged.. Which was about 3 years ago.
Now she is HUGE. She seriously looks like a morbidly obese Miss Piggy. I can only imagine how pissed her husband must be. I almost feel sorry for the guy, but he's an asshole so it just kind of makes me laugh. |

He literally specified that she got that fat in 5 years, sits around the house eating ice cream and watching TV. Did you even read the thread? No . I saw the before and after pics and read the title. It didn't mention the ice cream. I had a girlfriend who looked like a young Debra Winger when I met her. She lived with me and jogged to and from her job as a fitness trainer, six miles round trip every day. Then she decided to finish her degree, bought a car and went back to school full time at 28 matter of fact. She gained weight as a result, probably from 115 to 165. She ate what she wanted and studied. I never looked at her any differently when she graduated at 175 than I did when I met her. Thats the difference right there between men and superficial turds, they remember the woman they met and see that image forever. |

I'm pretty sure the vows are supposed to cover that. But that being said I would not be happy about it, no fat chicks. There is normal getting older, then there is just not giving a fuck. A wise man once told me to marry a quiet skinny girl because they only get louder and fatter.
But no I wouldn't leave her . We'll maybe if she got really huge lol. |
|
No. The only way out would be if she cheats or one of us dies. Of natural causes of course.
|

If she refused to fix herself, and I lost the attraction to her because of that...than yes.

My wife got wicked fat once...
She was pregnant. Good thing I didn't leave her. After the baby, she slimmed back down. We are still together. She is 6 lbs under her wedding weigh in right now. We are cleaning up dinner now. Out to our home gym for squats, DL, and OHP. |

I'd stick around but the snacky cakes and cheesey poofs would have to go.

No.... Never... It seems as though this type of superficial thinking, is a direct reflection of the lack of commitment present in marriages in the past few decades. I love my wife completely and without reservation. I've always known that her looks would change / fade over time. As would mine. It's the whole person I fell in love with. Not just her pretty face or firm body. The only thing that could ever get me to consider leaving my wife would be infidelity on her part. I'd hope that after 30 years that we have that part figured out. |
|

I expect people to age and normal changes that come from such, but getting fat and lazy does not include that. I would try and get her to change, if she didn't....well, I am out. Call me shallow or superficial, I don't care.

How symmetrical are the tits, and does she put out with passion?

I think many in this thread have taken it to the extreme. If someone does nothing but sit around, eat ice cream, and develop health problems as a result, there is likely a physical or psychological problem at work. I would get them whatever help I could. I'd do whatever I could do. I wouldn't leave. I gave my word. That means something to me. Love, honor, cherish, faithful in good times and bad, in sickness and in health until death do us part. This is typical of our vows. Nothing in there about getting fat. |

I've made a lifelong commitment to my wife. I'm not leaving because she gains weight
I could forgive just about anything, including being fat. |

I married my husband when he was 175 lbs. and I was 98 lbs. I stood by him when he got up to 264 lbs and I stayed 98 lbs. He has now gotten back down to 175 lbs, and I am 95 lbs.
I never stopped loving him, physically or emotionally. I never stopped thinking he was handsome. Sad to see that's not the case for many of y'all. |

I was resentful toward my wife for this very reason for several years. Then I got sick. She took care of me when I couldn't, wore the pants when she had to and stood by me through 20+ years of it off and on. Including her family members telling her to ditch me and that it would be OK because I was not the person she married.
One of us married for the right reason. I'd like to think I've learned a thing or two along the way. |
|
Wouldn't leave her for getting fat.
Not putting out or intentionally holding back sex ... well that would be a deal breaker though. |

I wonder how many of the "kick her to the curb" guys were smart enough to get pre-nups.
