I said it earlier in this thread, the Astros broke Jansen in the series and he has not been the same.  Way too many 9th inning home runs given up by him.

I suspect the LAD will still make it to the WS, but no way they win the whole thing.

Gonna be a great ALDS between us this year. Is what last years ALCS shoulve been. But Ill be honest. I hate your lineup. It always feels like you guys got 8 guys coming to bat that hit 30HR each.

And then the 9th is fucking Altuve...

I don't know. That one guy for Houston always got his ass kicked by the Indians. I'm glad we got rid of him.

I dont know either. They hid him from us all year. We havent seen him since he was at the game I was at in July 2017, that was on ESPN. So I dont know whats gonna happen.

Is his renaissance real? Or is he gonna crumble like usual against us and blame sign stealing, or suite lights, or the baseball, or whatever else that guy constantly whines about?

I dont know..

I can't figure out how to save the picture of the bracket I made so I'll just do it the neo-Luddite way.

ALCS: BOS

NL:
WC CHI-COL: CHI
ATL-LAD NLDS: LAD

We're giant underdogs against the Stros. Thats undisputed.

But one thing Cleveland sports teams loves is-
A: being underestimated
and
2: spoiling shit for everyone else. We looooove upsetting much better foes. Its fucking weird. But I like it.

Cleveland Against the World isnt just a trendy catchphrase. We love fucking shit up for better people in unpossible ways.

Ah, yes. It is all flooding back know, how we sat in the sun, how my knees were sunburned, how the people agreed with my shirt. It was a fine day, as fine a day as one can have in Cleveland. Slightly better than a kick to the groonies, but not as good as a handjob from a supermodel.

Since the Rockies are my unofficial "other" team I'll let them get beat by the Stros in 6. A record number of HRs will be hit... again.

George Karl, NBA coach won coach of the year when his best player was traded and he had a decent playoff run. he went on the radio not long after and said 'coaches of the year get fired!!'

he was fired like a day later...

buck showalter has won multiple manager's of the year, most recently after going to the ALCS when three of his best players were on the DL. his days are probably over in b'more.

Maybe,  it looked like his foot didn't hit the side of the bag,  but the top. Hard to tell from TV, but definitely not enough to overturn imo.

Whatever the call was,  was going to stand.

Javy Baez literally has the highest swing rate in all of baseball.  The dude would swing at an intentional walk if he could.  Why would you throw anywhere near the plate on 0-2?
