-10 for disgusting boiled bratwurst.  Grilled is the only acceptable way to serve a brat, if you must boil it, always grill it later to a golden brown.

Boiled, steamed, thrown on the ground and stomped on, those are all options I would take before putting ketchup on a brat.

Ketchup on a hot dog is bad enough, but on a brat?

I can't talk shit about the ketchup as it's one of the few things I consume that qualify as almost a vegetable.

Steve was basically raised as Sloth from the Goonies. Maybe he got an extra fish head in his soup on his birthday or something. Beaten with reeds just because. He didn't see sunlight until he was dragged into the streets of Detroit and abandoned the day he turned 18.

Suddenly, all the pieces of Steve fit together.

They say it was staged materials in the roof, about 100 feet up, it was a 2 alarm fire, burned for 37 minutes and they are going to have engineers onsite tomorrow to determine if there was any structural damage. It's too soon to tell if it will impact Opening Day.

I bet with overtime they can get her opened on time.

You live in Texas. It's hot there. But that doesn't give you licence to ignore the very laws of God and Man and put roof on a ballpark.

God gave Texas permission to have roofs on ballparks when they built the Astrodome.

He looked down and saw that the Astrodome had a roof and he saw that it was good, and saith unto the Sons of Texas, this day thou hast done my will.

I do wonder what their contingency plan is? I guess there is no reason they couldn't play without a finished roof.

Maybe they can use the park the San Antonio Missions some minor league park to play at? Smaller, but it's not like the Rangers are setting attendance records.

Actually earlier tonight my wife and I were checking to see if tickets were on sale for this game. It is a bucket list item for us. We do get chances to see the Yanks when they play the Twins and interleague with the Rockies. CO is 6.5 hours away and Minn is 10 hours. That's as close as it gets.
