Listening to guys who carried one in JSOC makes me not want one.
In Blackhawk Down, an operator drew his 1911, aimed and pressed the trigger…hammer was frozen by sand.  Took cover and threw a frag.
Kyle Lamb, on his podcast, said that they could not shoot their pistol standards without multiple malfunctions.
Those are not rack grade guns…and they still failed

And yet they still thought glocks were inferior and carried something else.

Actually I'm the nicest person off the internet.  That being said I don't have a lot of patience for jackassery online (or in real life) and I refuse to jump on anyone's bandwagon on anything for any reason.   That doesn't sit well here in GD bandwagon/echo chamber-land.
Finally, people poke me and get all upset when I don't just say "aw shucks".
Plus, what's 'dealing with some shit' about a rolleyes emoji and "whatever"?

That cinches it for me. I would never carry a type of weapon that has ever had a malfunction during rough military service.

It only has to do it seven times in a row, so that's not that impressive.

He could shoot much more if he wasn't using a 7 round capacity pistol.Attachment Attached File

Back in the late 80's my good friend picked up a Norinco 1911 and I was super jelly.  It was very inexpensive but ran like a top.  I never did buy a Norinco, but i have 5 other 1911's I enjoy shooting.

Not if the stage requires a mag change anyways, and nobody I know uses a 7 when WC and CM 8's exist

You don't shoot much either, otherwise you would have easily known of it and not post something petulant to white knight for your boyfriend while also stepping on your pee-pee. Which was twice, you're just not good at this.

Your troll game is weak, the 1911 is a tool option and not a dick unless of course that's your kind thing.

1911 bashing only happens online.

I shoot IDPA, IPSC, and Steel Challenge monthly with a 1911. I get nothing but high 5's, even from Glock guys. My guns ALWAYS run flawlessly.....and yes I am ok with cleaning them after every shoot.

My Ruger SR1911 went 300 rounds on Saturday with no extra lube/cleaning. Not one malfunction.
