New toy, don't ask what happened to the old one.  The CF feels good in hand, and I don't mind all the holes on this knife for some reason!

oh shit

2007 with 139k for $26k?

nah, I gotta wait for prices to come down

I really need a truck, but I am not paying crazy prices

talking with the wife though at an event recently, we were waiting in the valet line and all these fancy cars came rolling through, and then my Subie

No biggie, I do me, don't really care what others think if they notice at all

but at the same time, it is a talking point, networking at events with some of these people cars are their hobby, so something like this would be on their radar

and if I have only a truck, we would have two trucks, not the most convenient parking downtown

someone I know is a mopar guy, but recently picked up four corvettes, and is looking to make room in his garage, so he is selling a couple, wants them to go to good homes of people he knows

and my parents want my Subie before winter hits

so this is here on trial as a fun car. it may need to be my primary for a little bit until the right truck happens, we will see. I know someone else that was selling a Cadillac for cheap, maybe I need that in the interim too.

at this rate my lawn is going to fill up fast.

I get it...your career has a fair amount of entertaining required and there are appearances to maintain, (no snark intended or implied here...serious comment).
I know you dig the Subi...any thoughts to maybe purchasing an Ascent?
Still a Subi, so not G-Wagen money spent on the ride, but still eminently practical in your part of the world.
Nice enough to not be memorable or standout for being pedestrian, yet sensible enough for your needs?
Seats 7-8 so you could bring Clara and Jesus to events as well as lug the kiddo's about everywhere else?
Just spit balling here....

I had a 76? 260 z. I left the country and when I came back it was gone. Like gone, gone. Totally disappeared.

Such sweet cars. I remember when Nissan bought back the 240’s and restored them to resell at dealers. Missed that boat.
