In a giant box for .50 a bag in the back of local grocery store, Tapatio mixed nuts and/or Tapatio Peanuts. They must of had 1000 bags in a 4x4x4 box and I was reluctant to buy too many as I've been had before on what I thought would be good food. As it turns out, I should've had them load the entire fucking box with a forklift into the back of my truck. Although I'll be heading to town tomorrow for what's left, I'm not holding my breath that there will be many.

I live in the land of beer. Beer made Milwaukee famous.  Schlitz and Pabst set the groundwork that Miller would later take over.

I have never liked Miller. Pabst and Schlitz are OK, better than Miller, still not great. We have other good beers from smaller breweries, but given the choice of macro brews I would take Old Style (now defunct) or Coors.

Budweiser was off limits just out of civic pride. And Bud light is shit.

But then not too far back, I was in St Louis to see some asshole and figured I would get in some fun time for the kids going on the Budweiser tour so they could see the clydesdales. At the end of the tour you get beer, so I grabbed a Bud. It was good. Sweet and refreshing.

So yeah, if I am in a place with limited choices, I will grab a Bud before a Miller.

ETA: And before someone says that Old Style is still available, no, it really isn't. The name is owned by the same group that owns Pabst, Schlitz, Strohs, Old Milwaukee, etc, but it is just a fashion label. The beer is not kraeusened these days, it is different.

ETA2:  And interestingly, the PBR group is owned by a Russian and a US equity group and most of their products were being made by Miller last I heard.

Under sink work sucks! I made up a board that goes from the floor into the cabinet so I can lay on it without breaking a rib on the shelf. Glad I don't have to do that often.

Drank a lot of Strohs growing up - the version from the 80's would be my choice among those. Not sure I'm familiar with the original Old Style though.
