View Quote me too, I had one last year, but it didn't stick around because the date window was too small for me, the case was a hair small and I like the hands on my Casio better. this conversation has me looking again, not seeing anything new in the way of a dive watch, but another has caught my eye and intrigues me... ETA: Oh, and FYI, the Seiko listing on Amazon lists the band width as 20mm, which is pretty common on the Seikos, but pretty sure the lug width on that one is 22mm. |

View Quote Date window could be annoying. I don't mind a smaller case, but that one says 43 mm anyway - that's too small? Geeze, my Tissot that I wore for a decade or more (the aforementioned auto) was either a 36 or 38. |
As to your edit, Seiko's own site says 20 for lug width as well.
Then that would be a no from me as well, gotta be 22mm.

42mm is plenty big enough for me. 20mm strap isn't a deal breaker at all either. I also prefer an inconspicuous date - cyclops are a no. I'd prefer that to be a black background with a white number on that watch but it still looks really good overall.
