I quite like the Limousin. It has all the standard fare, grass, pepper, & toffee, but the barrel choices seem to add some character. Very smooth for a rye too. It would be a regular purchase if available around here.

That flat cord still looks really good on the knife.

I just went to check on my package floating around California, see if it had moved at all, haven't been able to check all night.

Still telling me "This service is currently unavailable."

I don't think I have ever seen their website do that. Little glitches here and there, lack of updates, or meaningless updates, sure, but never had it just be unavailable.

Nevermind. Just got in a different way and it is working fine. Package is still sitting in Livingston, CA. In between Fresno and Sacramento.

I think you should post more pics in different lights so we can get a feel for it.

Sometimes you need the weird light. I still can't figure out how to get a good picture of my smock.

This is a customized SAK from a gentleman on Bladeforums.   Nothing too grand but he slicks up the deployment of the blades and other tools and attaches custom scales he mills out of G10.  Sometimes, like this one, he uses factory metal scales.  Also, the non show side has two holes milled in to accept a variety of screwdriver/Torx/metric, etc. bits.  Neat.

USPS is a mess. I sent some stuff 1000 miles away around the same time I sent something 100 miles away. They arrived the same day 5 days after I mailed them.

I really like what they did with the SAK. Kinda cool to have those including the bit driver.

Really a utility piece

I think my LED work lights might be terrible for taking pictures. The vertical black reflections are from them.

Still cuts paper, and cardboard. Still shaves afterwards.

That’d be unwise given the age and curiosity factor of my umpaloopas. I have had to keep all my knives up and out of reach for a couple months now. It reminds me of when I was 4 or 5 that I cut the shit out of my hand with my cousin’s Swiss Army knife sneaking around at my grandparents house. Around that same age I got caught opening shotgun shells in the garage to play with the shot bb’s. My father was not happy.

While I'm sure safety briefs are somewhat important good knife pics are more important.

Appears you are already in need of another display case, that one is full-up.
Do you plan to stack the 2nd case on top or place it on the other side of your desk?

?

I have 3.68 empty drawers and can scrunch everything up a bunch more in the drawers that have stuff.

Lots of room.

More than I should ever reasonably need.

I suppose if I think about it, to be reasonable, I could narrow down how many I really need. I mean, I only have one or two hammers of each different style, how many knives do I reasonably need.

General, actual pocket knife use: SAK w/ scissors

Persec: Emerson of course, Kwaiken, or maybe Hattin

Working utility knife: Gail

Polite Knife: small Inkosi (if I am reasonable, the SAK probably fills this role too)

Only need 3 I guess.

doesn't really justify a case.

Guess I better throw the rest out
