Found my first Fast & Furious email in wikileaks of John Podesta's emails:
Congressional Investigations Paper Target Fwd: Congressional Investigations Paper Topic From:[email protected] To: [email protected] Date: 2014-02-24 12:10 Subject: Fwd: Congressional Investigations Paper Topic Begin forwarded message: > From: Adaku Onyeka <[email protected]> > Date: February 24, 2014, 9:02:30 EST > To: [email protected], [email protected] > Subject: Congressional Investigations Paper Topic > > Good morning, Judge Leon and Professor Podesta - > > My paper will focus on the investigation of the Department of Justice's Gun-Trafficking Scandal (aka Operation Fast and Furious). This investigation was precedential because it was the first time a Cabinet secretary was held in contempt of Congress, and also the first time the Obama administration asserted executive privilege to withhold documents from Congress. > > Many media reports found the congressional investigation to be politically charged. Meanwhile, DOJ's Inspector General quietly conducted its own audit of the gun-walking scandal. I hope to compare the two investigations to determine whether the contentious and political nature of the congressional probe was more or less enlightening than the IG report, or whether there was little difference between the final products of either investigations. > > I have just started my research, so if possible, I'd prefer to have time to outline the structure of my paper before speaking with you one-on-one. Therefore, if there are still slots available, I would like to schedule my conference for next week's class (March 3). Please let me know if there is any initial feedback you have. > > Thank you, > > Adaku Onyeka |

This thread should never die.
It's digital history of FHRC and FBO contempt for our Constitution and the great people of this nation. High Crimes against this nation. RIP Brian Terry 12/14/10. For those who are just now coming to this horrific event and egregious assault against our gun rights and our Constituion ... http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/crime/item/15533-obama-s-fast-and-furious-gun-running-scandal-grows https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATF_gunwalking_scandal Or, you can just spend a day reading this thread from beginning to end. The last time I talked to my congressman face to face, he said no one could be prosecuted for Fast and Furious until we had an AG and DOJ willing to prosecute, and that meant having a pres to appoint them.
Well, I'll be calling my congressman and looking forward to the next face to face meeting to address this. |

At the time she sent the email, she appeared to have had overlapping roles as a Law Clerk at the National Archives and a Student Attorney at FLAC. And, from the wording of the email, possibly also a student of Podesta's. IIRC, he taught a class at Georgetown. It would definitely be interesting to have someone talk to her (informally)... though I imagine she bats for the other team (politically). But, yeah, I doubt they'd actually talked to her at the time... especially with her EPIC background. Edit: IIRC, he taught a class at Georgetown. Yup. I believe that it is up to the new AG to appoint a special prosecutor? That said I would think that AG Jeff Sessions will do it, at least that is my hope as it is the only way the leftist corruption will be stopped, or at least reduced. That said he will have other fish to fry like IRS, Clinton Foundation etc. Hillary her self, he is going to be a busy guy it he does his job????

JUST A REMINDER:
It's now been eight years sense the Obama administration implemented a plan to take our second amendment rights by allowing and in some cases aiding straw purchase of weapons they new were headed to Mexico for use by drug cartels. Those weapons are responsible for over three hundred murders in Mexico, a number that will surely go higher. That number does not include at least 2 US government agents also murdered with these weapons. The plan was to claim that the only way to get control of the problem was to ban said weapons here in the US. All people that were involved in said plan are guilty of taking part in the straw purchases and the murders that followed, however after eight years not one has been arrested let alone convicted. THE LAST EIGHT YEARS: Have taught me several things about the government, one is there is no justice that has come from the DOJ as they were involved and did not prosecute. Two, the Obama Admin was your typical Chicago crime organization. And the alphabet agencies are corrupt and political. All said we are in trouble.? |

Oversight and reform Committe Hearing: Reviewing ATF’s Failures in the Death of ICE Agent Jaime Zapata
TAKEAWAYS:
Officials from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) failed to appear at the hearing. Invitations to testify before Congress are not optional. Chairman Chaffetz signed subpoenas to compel the attendance of ATF officials Ronald Turk and William Temple later this month. ATF took full responsibility for not investigating straw purchasers who trafficked a firearm that was later used in the attack that killed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Special Agent Jaime Zapata and wounded his colleague, Special Agent Victor Avila. The inspector general gave further examples of law enforcement agencies not sufficiently communicating with one another. ATF is making an effort to work more closely with the U.S. Attorney in order to improve communications during ongoing investigations. Chairman Chaffetz requested that ATF work with the courts to reach an agreement to provide documents to Congress sealed in connection with a tobacco churning case. Fox News: Chaffetz subpoenas ATF agents who skipped hearing on death of ICE officer
House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz issued subpoenas Thursday to two ATF agents after they failed to show at a hearing examining the 2011 murder of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent Jaime Zapata.
“I'm tired of hearing from just [Justice Department] management, I want to hear from the people that actually are on the front lines doing this,” Chaffetz, R-Utah, said. The committee will now seek to compel testimony from William Temple, special agent in charge of the Dallas Field Division, and Ronald Turk, associate deputy director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, later this month. The hearing Thursday was meant to examine alleged lapses in the ATF's investigation into the trafficking of guns later used in the February attack that killed Zapata and wounded his ICE colleague, Special Agent Victor Avila. An inspector general report was completed more than five years after the committee and Sen. Charles Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, inquired into Zapata’s murder. Zapata was killed by members of the Los Zetas drug cartel while on official business in Santa Maria del Rio, Mexico. View Quote ETA: Congressman Jason Chaffetz: "Do you know what a subpoena is?" David Codrea: Veteran ATF Whistleblower Rips Acting Director’s Testimony to House Oversight
USA – -(Ammoland.com)- “Today's testimony … should be embarrassing to everybody who does or did carry an ATF badge,” retired Special Agent Vince Cefalu asserted to members of the CleanUpATF forum. “Clearly the Dem side of the committee had NO interest in providing oversight…”
He was referring to Thursday’s appearance before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Activities by Thomas E. Brandon, Acting Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The hearing was held to further explore the ambush murder of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent Jaime Zapata by cartel operatives in Mexico, where “straw-purchased” guns allowed by ATF to “walk” across the border were recovered from the scene. Top Mexican SUI LEO Tipping off Drug Cartel Caught
MEXICO CITY (AP) — In a major embarrassment for Mexican law enforcement, U.S. prosecutors said in documents made public Wednesday that the commander of a Mexican police intelligence-sharing unit was passing information on a DEA investigation to the Beltran Leyva drug cartel in exchange for millions of dollars.
Ivan Reyes Arzate, 45, was named in a U.S. district court indictment, just hours after Mexican federal police commissioner Manelich Castilla revealed that an unnamed agent had been charged with obstructing an investigation. What Castilla did not say was that Reyes Arzate was the commander of a federal police sensitive investigative unit. The special units, known as SIUs, were formed starting in the 1990s precisely to create more secure groups that the U.S. could feel comfortable sharing intelligence with. Castilla said Reyes Arzate had been fired in November. He is in U.S. custody. The Justice Department described Reyes Arzate as "the principal point of contact for information being shared between U.S. law enforcement and the Mexican Federal Police." View Quote "Reyes, in his role as supervisor over the SIU, routinely had contact and worked collaboratively with DEA agents in Mexico City," according to the indictment.
Mike Vigil, a former chief of international operations for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, said there had always been a problem with the special units: The top commanders refused to submit to background or polygraph checks, even though low-level agents were vetted. "The higher echelon, the higher level of the federal police, do not want to be vetted," Vigil said. "So the information that goes from the vetted units to their commanders can be easily compromised." "We have pushed for that ... they have never wanted to and I think that a lot of them have severe integrity issues, so they don't want to go through that vetting because they're afraid of what we may find out," Vigil said. "A lot of them are corrupt so they don't want to be vetted. If we were able to vet them from top to bottom it would be a great program." View Quote |

Fast and Furious scandal: Suspected triggerman in border agent's murder arrested
EXCLUSIVE – The cartel member suspected of shooting and killing Border Patrol agent Brian Terry in 2010 with a gun supplied by the U.S. government was arrested in Mexico Wednesday, senior law enforcement, Border Patrol, and congressional sources told Fox News.
The suspect, Heraclio Osorio-Arellanes, was apprehended by a joint U.S.-Mexico law enforcement task force that included the Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Marshals and the Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC). A $250,000 reward had been sought for information leading to the arrest of Osorio-Arellanes, who was captured at a ranch on the border of the Mexican states of Sinaloa and Chihuahua. U.S. authorities have said they will seek his extradition. Terry was killed on Dec. 14, 2010 in a gunfight between Border Patrol agents and members of a five-man cartel "rip crew," which regularly patrolled the desert along the U.S.-Mexico border looking for drug dealers to rob. ... what with the Clintons, GunWalker or Fast and Furious or what ever it's called, the IRS scandals, the Uranium sale to the Russkies, the VA scandal, I can only hope that Trump is getting Sessions to line up all his ducks. That he is just waiting to drop the hammer. I won't hold my breath though, the bureaucracy is much bigger than Trump and it has been around for a very long time.
