I went to high school with a girl that was anorexic. We tried to get her to eat at lunch time. She would take a bite or 2, then say she was full and stop. She would excuse herself after 10 minutes or so and go to the restroom. Other girls said she went in there to force herself to throw up.
She was a really nice girl. I did feel sorry for her. She died while I was at Ft Bragg sometime around ‘83 or ‘84 from an infection of some sort. She was 22 or 23. |
